Cale walks back into his room and turns off the light before waltzing his way back into his bed. He uses a dial nearby to adjust the inclination of his mattress and attempts to drift off into sleep. Minutes go by as Cale stares up at the ceiling stuck in deep thought before he eventually closes his eyes and falls into slumber.

A flash of white light finds Cale awakening in space, surrounded by floating rocks adorned with pieces of castle structures placed on and around the rocks and all throughout the surrounding areas. A purple hue engulfs the entirety of the field of view where the stars lay twinkling and shining vividly. Cale turns around and finds himself standing before steel castle doors. He places his hands on the doors and instantly retracts him.

Cale: Golly, that's colder than hell.

Cale then uses a bout of strength to open the doors and is flooded by a piercing flash of white light. Once the light fades, Cale enters into a near-blank void that appears infinite to a degree aside from flashes of colors that twinkle momentarily in patches from all angles. A large whooshing sound sneaks up right behind Cale, causing him to turn around in a startled manner. Cale looks around in an attempt to locate the source of the sound to no avail. With some concern, Cale begins to move forward and pace himself a bit quickly until he hears the sound again and pauses in step. A few moments after he locks into place, Cale feels a finger tap on his shoulder. To his surprise, Cale jumps five feet up into the air and lands on his back, hitting his head in the process. To his left appears a giant paintbrush that begins to fill the blank void and create the interior of a castle. Perplexed by the oddity of the scenario, Cale slowly recovers from his fall and stands back up. He uses his inner voice to yell at the paintbrush.

Cale: HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE?

Though lacking any facial features, the paintbrush moves one side of its figure to mimic itself turning around to look at Cale. The paintbrush pauses in motion and Cale's eyes widen significantly.

Cale: Oh sh-

The paintbrush from its distance glides towards Cale at a rapid pace, triggering Cale to run at a speed that could rival a jaguar on caffeine. Suddenly, Cale bumps into nothing as if a wall was present right before him, almost knocking him out unconscious.

???: That was a pretty hard hit, wasn't it?

Cale appears bewildered as to where the source of the voice is stemming from until the paintbrush reaches him and paints the figure of a human-like silhouette with a cape and facial outlines. The figure stares deep into Cale and smiles brightly, waiting for him to respond. The figure then extends his left arm outwards to Cale, gesturing to offer him help back up. Cale looks at the figure in a frightened manner before placing his hand onto theirs. The figure helps Cale back up and raises one finger up in the air.

???: There's no need to be afraid, really.

Cale: WELL, when you put it that way, it's almost a clear indication that I should perhaps be just a little bit worried.

???: Suit yourself.

The figure turns around and begins to walk off slowly into the distance.

Cale: Woah, wait a second.. who are you?

The figure pauses in step, then turns his face around at an angle to look at Cale.
