Chapter 1 | The First Dive into the Dungeon

Bell still looked a little concerned, but she nodded and let it go.

With their battle finished, they collected the magic stones and continued deeper into the Dungeon.

After descending into the Second Floor, Y/n could immediately tell the difference. The atmosphere was denser, the air thicker, and the monsters were clearly stronger than those on the First Floor.

Instead of Giant Ants, they now faced Goblins and Kobolds, creatures that moved faster and fought with more intelligence (though not much).

With his newly increased stats, Y/n was already performing better. His movements were sharper, his strikes stronger, and he felt his body adapting with every fight.

Bell furrowed her brow, watching as Y/n effortlessly dodged an incoming Kobold, countering with a devastating kick to its chest.

Bell's thoughts: "Wait... wasn't he just a little slower before? Is he just that skilled?"

As they cleared the last group of monsters, Y/n exhaled, rolling his shoulders. So far, the fights had been manageable. But then—

A deep, guttural roar echoed through the cavernous halls of the Second Floor, sending a chill through the air.

Y/n and Bell immediately turned toward the sound, their eyes locking onto a massive creature stepping out from the shadows ahead.

A Minotaur.

Y/n's thoughts: "Wait... isn't this thing supposed to be on the upper middle floors?"

Y/n barely had time to process the situation before he noticed something even more concerning. Bell wasn't moving. Her face had gone pale, her body trembling in place.

Y/n's gaze sharpened.

Y/n: "Damn it, she's completely paralyzed!"

The Minotaur let out a deep, guttural snarl, lowering its head as it prepared to charge. Without hesitation, Y/n grabbed Bell and shoved her out of the way just as the beast roared forward.

The thunderous stomp of hooves cracked the ground beneath it, sending dust and loose rocks scattering. Y/n had no time to think, he had to act.

The Minotaur's fist swung down, aiming to crush him in a single blow. Y/n sidestepped, narrowly dodging the strike as the impact sent a shockwave of force through the air. The sheer strength of the beast was insane.

Y/n's thoughts: "Alright... raw power isn't gonna work. I need to outmaneuver this thing."

Instead of retreating, he dashed forward, keeping low. The Minotaur tried to turn, but Y/n was already on its left side, attacking its exposed flank.

With a swift, precise slash, Y/n's dagger tore a deep gash across the beast's ribs. The Minotaur grunted in pain, stumbling slightly, but it barely slowed down.

Y/n's thoughts: "Damn, even with a clean hit, it's too tough."

The Minotaur swung its massive arm, aiming to swat him like an insect. Y/n rolled under the attack, feeling the sheer force whip the air above him.

Bell's thoughts: "Y/n is moving too smoothly... it's like he already knew how to fight something this strong."

Y/n didn't waste time. The moment he was back on his feet, he pivoted and threw a dagger, aiming for the Minotaur's Achilles tendon.

The blade embedded deep, causing the beast to stumble forward with a roar.

Y/n's thoughts: "That got its attention."
