I'm still confuse at Rael's sudden gentleness. Seriously, what's wrong with him?

Does he like me? Nah, probably just bored.

Yesterday, he's always laughing whenever I did or say something. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang isipin na muka ba talaga akong katatawanan?

I don't know what should I react. If insulted or laugh. Seriously, am I his happy pill?

I sigh and stand out of my bed to do my everyday routine. Hindi parin mawala sa isip ko 'yung kahapon. I don't understand Rael. He's not like that, he's confusing me.

Pagkatapos kong mag-ayos ay agad akong dumeretso sa room, since I didn't eat breakfast.

Nagulat ako ng makita ang buong gang. Why are they here? As soon as they saw, they immediately stood up. I remain in my spot, unfazed but confuse.

"Yes, do you need anything?"

I ask. They look at each other and say something that make my world stop for a moment. What?

"We want you to join our gang," Serafine, the protagonist said. I look at her blankly, but in reality I was shock. What, wait? What?

"H–huh?"

I blink twice, still processing.

"Ah, wait. Let us explain about our g—"

"I know what kind of gang you all are, but why?"

I bit my lower lip because of stupidity. Fvck!

"Huh, paano mo nalaman?"

North ask, but I shrugged it and don't answer. I don't need to, right?

"Dunno," what a lame answer, Yeng.

"Eh?"

"Nothing," I shrugged and go to my descendant seat. They trailed me behind, I look at them confusely?

"What?"

I ask as my eyebrow arched.

"Your answer? Will you join?"

Ask by Yel. Oh, yeah right.

"Let me think of it," dummy. Why would you think? This will be your chance.

"Oh, okay."

"Give me three days to think and give me also the reson why would I join your gang. In that way, maybe I consider joining," I explain. They smiled at me. A warm and gentle smile.

Okay?

"Ow. I promise you're not gonna be disappointed," Serafine said as she smiled at me. I just nod which makes her pout.

"Ow, you're really cold."

I arched an eyebrow, "Hmm?"

I hummed and didn't pay attention to any of them.

"You should go back to your descendant seats, ladies and gentlemens."

I suggest in a nonchalant manner. They didn't said anything but do what I say.

As soon as they sat down, our lecturer arrived, so I focused my attention on her.

While Ma’am was discussing, I noticed a gaze from behind. Who could it be? It was him! Rael, that stupid annoying guy. Dang, why is this jerk staring at me?

I couldn't resist so I discreetly glanced at him and raised an eyebrow. My stare was threatening, but he just smiled.

I frowned. This stupid guy, so early in the morning. I still couldn't forget what happened yesterday. His character is out of  the line.

The damn butterfly effect. I just wanted to change the fates of my characters, and now the changes are huge!

Sigh. I guess that's how it is. When you change, your surroundings need to change too.

The lecturer finished her discussion, and I didn’t understand anything, but I ignored it. What can a thirteen-year-old brain understand? Well, I felt something had changed on me, but anyway it is still me.

We waited for the next lecturer, and my classmates were incredibly noisy. I didn’t stand up or move from my seat. My mind was occupied with everything's happening.

It’s been a month since I've been here. Are my parents okay? Did I die in my world? Or am I just missing? What are they doing there?

Thinking about my family made me miss them terribly.

Do they even remember me? Are they looking for me?

"Deep in thought, huh?" I looked at the guy who sat beside me. I rolled my eyes. What is this guy doing here again?

"What do you need?"

He laughed at my question.

"Wow, just because I sat next to you, I need something?"

I shrugged. "I don’t know," I said, followed by a comfortable silence.

"Your sister," I started. I saw him look at me from the corner of my eye. "Is she okay?"

I asked him, but I didn’t get an answer. I looked at him, only to be surprised that he was staring at me intently, like he was digging into my whole being.

"W-why, did I ask something wrong?"

Why did I stutter?!

He didn’t answer me and just smiled. He looked to the front, so I discreetly sighed. I thought he wouldn’t answer me anymore, so I was surprised when he spoke.

"She’s not okay. She… she will never be okay, or me. I won't be okay, especially with the man who raped my sister still around," I could feel the mix of emotions in his voice alone. There was bitterness, anger, hatred, sorrow, sadness, and pain.

I could tell he was hurting for his sister's situation. Who wouldn’t be?

He looked at me and I saw a myriad of emotions in his eyes. He didn’t speak, but his eyes said so much.

While looking at him, I couldn’t help but think that I could do something I shouldn’t do…

I smiled at him. A soft and comforting smile. He was surprised, but I ignored it.

"Don’t worry. I’m sure there’s a group of people who will be brave enough to help you and get your sister a justice she deserve," I said to him in a gentle voice. "How do you know?"

He asked me. I just smiled at him.

"I just know. Maybe tomorrow, next week, or next month, you and your sister will finally get the justice she deserves."

I said, still smiling. I secretly celebrated when I saw a glimmer of hope in him, but he didn’t say anything. I just let him be.

"You’re right. I hope so."

I smiled secretly. Just you wait, Rael. Serafine and her gangs will help you,
