I dropped the topic when I noticed his sudden changed of behavior, He's really twisted. I sighed and went I saw Colton is went to his father table I seized the moment to search for Lucia and Elliot. And then I heard some noises and I thought it was Lucia and Elliot. But they're not. But their voice is familiar and one of them is—Colton?

"I want you to get rid of that omega, He's not good for this family." Colton said coldly.

"Atlast, You finally made your decision." A man said. "That Omega doesn't have anything. He will be shame for our family. Unlike Rai he came from a family of noble omega. Well mannered, beautiful and educated. I thought you're really concern earlier. But it's just for show!"

My heart sank as I heard Colton’s voice, cold and devoid of any emotion I had hoped to see in him. My fingers trembled as I pressed myself against the wall, trying to make myself as small as possible, fearing that if they knew I was listening, everything I had worked for—everything I had hoped—would collapse like a house of cards.

"I've been patient with that omega. But I’m done now." Colton’s voice was unmistakable in its finality, each word slicing through me like a sharp blade. "You were right. He’s a liability. His status, his past—it’s nothing but baggage that will only bring shame to the family name."

The other voice, a familiar one, seemed to mock me as it spoke. "You’ve only kept him around to maintain the peace, haven’t you? All for show, all for the illusion of a perfect omega, when in reality, he’s just a broken one. It’s no surprise really. He doesn’t belong here."

I felt my chest tighten, my breath catching in my throat. So this was it, I thought. This was what I was to Colton. A pawn, a mistake, something to be discarded when the time came. The man’s words stung, but Colton’s silence—his agreement—cut deeper than anything.

"You've made the right choice." The man’s voice was too smug for my liking, a triumphant tone that seemed to mock me even more. "He doesn’t belong in this world. Rai, now he’s the omega you need. He has everything—status, beauty, grace. No messy past, no secrets. That’s what the family needs."

And Colton... he said nothing. He didn’t argue. Didn’t fight to defend me. He just stood there, allowing the words to sink in.

I felt sick. My body felt like it was betraying me. How could I have been so foolish to think that Colton would change? That I could ever belong in this world, in this family?

I couldn’t take it anymore.

I quietly backed away from the wall, my hands trembling with rage and hurt as the reality of the situation sank in. I could hear their conversation fade as I quickly made my way toward the hallway, fighting the lump in my throat, trying not to let the tears fall.

I needed to find Lucia and Elliot. I needed to leave.

But when I was about to leave, I accidentally knocked off a expensive vase creating a loud sound. I gasped.

"Who's there?"

I froze, my heart pounding in my chest as I heard Colton’s voice, sharp and demanding. The loud crash of the vase echoed through the hall, making it impossible to escape unnoticed. I cursed under my breath, panic rising as I quickly glanced around, trying to find somewhere to hide.
