"But there was something about him, something that drew me in. He seemed so different from anyone I've ever met." I reasoned with my heart, unraveling the knots of confusion.
The past two days have been a whirlwind of emotions. I've tried to distract myself with work, immersing myself in projects, but even then, thoughts of Siddarth creep in. It's like he's become a permanent fixture in my mind, and I can't seem to find a way to move on.
Am I being foolish? Getting so caught up in someone I barely know. But it feels so real, so intense.
I just need to let go, to accept that this was a fleeting moment and nothing more.
Suddenly my phone pinged with new message, I picked my phone which lying on my study desk. I extend my hand and pick it up.
Going through my message which is from Kaira "Call me back, want to tell you something very important." But one notification grabs my attention It was an email, The subject line read: "Contract Offer for Upcoming Project." My heart skipped a beat when I recognized the sender—MEHRA TECH and INDUSTRIES', a name that carried a weight of prestige in the industry. It is company of THE Siddharth Mehra.
I opened the email and began to read:

I read the email multiple times, trying to process the gravity of the opportunity. This was a remarkable chance to advance my career and work with one of the most reputable companies in the field. Yet, the timing seemed almost too perfect. Could SiddarthMehra have had a hand in this? The thought of seeing him again, even in a professional setting, sent a thrill through me.
Quickly, I composed a response, expressing my gratitude for the opportunity and providing my availability for the meeting. As I hit "send," a mix of excitement and apprehension settled in. This could be a pivotal moment for my career, but it also meant facing Siddarth again, with all the emotions that entailed.
This is a significant opportunity. I need to make a great impression.
But how will I handle seeing him again? I must maintain my professionalism.
After that I suddenly remember I have to call Kaira. I dialed her number and waited for her to pick up. It wasn't long before her cheerful voice came through the line.
Kaira: Oyeee!!You won't Believe what happened to me at the clinic the other day?"
Sanvi: What happened?
Kaira: Do you remember the Roadblocker boy I told you about in your Art exhibition?
Sanvi: "Yes, yes, the same Roadblocker penguin who offered to forgive you in exchange for a coffee, right?
Kiara: Yeah, him. He actually came to my clinic. Like, seriously?
Sanvi: waah! waah!
