As much as I try to go through it again and again in my head, I still can't figure out the route of these new hallways. It's so much larger than what I was in before.

The only thing about them though, is that each passageway has something different and unique about it.

Take this chandelier for example, the one previously had a teardrops dangling downwards whereas this one is shaped much more pointed, like icicles about to fall any second.

The vase are all made of glass with such intricate designs, the color of flowers they each held are the same, but the flowers themselves are entirely different. Perhaps most of them are sprayed...?

Even the carpet we treaded on , matched brilliantly with the color scheme.

I stared at the broad shoulders ahead of me. His posture sending pains to my neck. How could anyone walk with their head so high.

(what's he so proud of anyway? Harassing me??)

His strides precise and careful, as he led me down to an unknown destination.

His head, full of healthy hair, black to a raven's feather overlapping on his white collar, folded neatly over that black butler's coat.

His pants, slim and fitted well, iron down to whatever the hell perfection is to him. I was starting to question if this was truly the way things are carried out in all rich households.

(something I could never find myself trying to fit into)

My focus slipping as my thoughts came back to the house I once lived in. The pain of having everything handed over to you. As other's wish to have that life, would stare at me with the most hungriest eyes and the most venomous rage I have ever seen.

(I was never ungrateful)

"I would appreciate it if you stop staring at me. It's quite uncomfortable."

I broke away and blinked until his words sunk in with much affect as his voice did.

A small curl up his lips as he whipped around and began walking again.

He probably found it amusing how I kept my distance away from him, even as we walked. I didn't feel it was rather strange to think that there might be a slight possibility that he enjoyed every moment of this.

The very thought made me grind my teeth as I continue to grimace.

He halted at a fancy doorway, there was a brief clutter on the other side. I watched carefully over his shoulder as the doors opened revealing a luxurious room with so much sunlight shinning through the large window frames that it would almost seem to be set outside.

As we stepped in, soft banter and laughter emitted around.

Reenay seated there typically in the middle of the room on a lovely peachy pink sofa with a glass of who-knows-what in her hands, and she smiled ever so fake to whoever the person seated opposite her.

A person that I only saw a few inches of what looked like the back of some large and fancy maiden's hat.

"Ah, Darling. You're here. Come in, come in. Come sit next to me. There's someone I'd like you to meet."

Curiosity washed over me as I made my way further in, and as I did, more and more of that mysterious person came into view.

When my eyes finally laid upon their face, I felt my own immediately go pale.
