Bound By the Force | Obi-Wan Kenobi x Reader

It has been a week, Obi-Wan and I haven't spoken to each other since he confronted me, except for a quick goodbye when he left for a mission of reclaiming Umbara for the Republic, a few days ago. I was walking towards the war room, eager to be assigned a mission.

As the doors open I see Master Windu and Master Yoda looking at a map. As soon as the doors close behind me Master Windu looks over, "(Y/n), I trust you have rested long enough?"

"Yes, I wish to have a battle assignment."

"Have something for you, we do." Master Yoda says pressing a button to show a planet.

"This is the planet Kiros, a peaceful artisan colony has settled here. Unfortunately, everyone has to pick a side in the war." He pauses, "Master Yoda has tried to talk them into joining the Republic but it seems the Separatists arrived there first. We've sent a transmission to Obi-Wan who just finished his previous mission, you are to go with him, Anakin and Ahsoka to help the people of Kiros."'

"Very well, I will get on my cruiser and meet them there." I saw scowling.

"Is something wrong?"

"I told him." I pause, "I'm annoyed with him."

"This conversation will have to continue later. I understand your frustration, Obi-Wan follows the code very strictly and unfortunately that goes against your very species."

"Yes, why would Auralis do this to me?"

We exit hyperspace and I see the Republic cruisers. I sigh before turning to the captain, "Captain, I want to go on that cruiser, you stay here guard the ships."

"Yes, General."

I quickly get to the hangar and jump into my ship. After a few minutes I arrived above the cruiser, The Negotiator, before it opens up and I land inside of it. I quickly jump out of the ship and a clone comes up to me, "General, welcome. General Kenobi and General Skywalker have been waiting for you at the bridge."

"I'll make my way over, thanks you soldier."

I quickly made my way towards the bridge stopping at the door as I hear conversation. "Unhappy, are you?"

"No it's just-"

"(Y/N) will prove to be a great help, it has been foreseen." I hear Master Windu say.

I feel my heart hurting before I storm into the room and stand before the hologram of Master Windu and Master Yoda, "Masters, I should be removed from this mission." I look over at Obi-Wan before turning my attention back to the Masters, "I don't want to make Master Kenobi uncomfortable."

"Wait that's not what I meant!" Obi-Wan exclaims.

"Masters." I call back their attention.

"Foreseen it has been, a great help (Y/n) will be." Master Yoda says smiling, "overcome this, you two must, a great team, you make."

"Very well." I say and watch the transmission cut off.

I look out the window and see that we are approaching Kiros. "All clear, sir. There are no Separatist craft in the system."

"It's been 10 rotations since Master Yoda's first transmission. I just hope we're not too late." Anakin says as we walk to the door of the bridge.

"Rex. Take us down." Obi-Wan commands.

"Yes, sir."

There are two transports carrying two seater speeders one driver and one shooter. I watch as Anakin and Ahsoka get into one of them. I look over at Obi-Wan and he smiles at me, "come now, what are we waiting for?"
