She stood in front of me. Her face told me if she could, she would've killed me right here, right now.
She was focused on fixing my tie, but I couldn't stop staring at her. In that sage-green gown, she looked breathtaking, like a dream. My heart pounded, I was completely lost in her beauty. A beauty so captivating, I could never tire of gazing at it.

But she's all I need in my life. I want her to fill my world with happiness. I want to shower her with love. I want to spoil her. Take care of her like the baby she is.
Whatever is happening was planned, right? Then why do I fear Kiara hating me after this. She told me I am a good person, why do I fear to see hate in her eyes for me?
"Are you not happy?" I felt the sudden urge to ask because the silence was suffocating me.

She once looked at me then again focused back on the tie.

"A marriage which is forced can't make me happy."
I held her hand that was on my tie "It is not forced on anyone. Rose loves me."
Her gaze locked onto mine, eyes red and glistening. "And what about you, Sir?"

She scoffed "Keep lying to yourself." She was about to leave but I held her hand.
"Kiara." I wanted to tell her that I am not a bad person. I wanted her to know that I too have a heart and I have reasons to do this. "I need to tell you something," I continued. "After today, everything between us might change."
She remained quiet.
"I am not a bad person Kiara."
"I thought the same about you but guess what? I was wrong."
I turned her towards me "Why are you saying this? You were the one who said I have goodness inside me. Why are you saying this now?"
"I was wrong. Everything I thought about you was wrong. You don't have the slightest bit of goodness. You are a monster who gets happiness by hurting other people."
