Sunday's pov:

It's just a dress, I thought to myself, staring at my reflection in the mirror. It was a little above my thighs, sure, but it wasn't like I was wearing something too short. Just enough to show off my legs without being over the top. I adjusted the fabric, making sure everything was in place before turning to face Y/N, who was leaning against the doorframe, watching me with that skeptical look on her face.

"Are you seriously wearing that to the mall?" she asked, her voice already sounding disapproving.

I raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with it?" I asked, giving her a teasing smile.

Y/N's eyes scanned me up and down, her arms crossing over her chest. "Sunday, if you bend down in that, you're literally gonna flash everyone."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "Relax, it's not that short. It's fine." I wasn't going to let Y/N's overprotectiveness ruin my fun. It was just a little dress—nothing too revealing.

Y/N wasn't convinced. Her eyes narrowed, and she let out a deep sigh like she was about to break it down for me. "I'm serious. If you bend down in that, you're going to show everything. You don't believe me, do you?"

I tilted my head, amused by her sudden intensity. "I don't believe you," I said with a smirk. "It's just a little above my thighs. I'll be fine."

Y/N stared at me, clearly annoyed. She took a breath and looked like she was thinking of a way to prove her point. "Bet," she said flatly, and I felt a sense of dread start to creep in.

Before I could even respond, Y/N casually dropped her pen.

"Could you pick that up for me?" she asked, her voice way too sweet.

I raised an eyebrow, already suspicious of what she was planning, but I bent down to grab it anyway, figuring it would prove her wrong. But as soon as I lowered myself, I felt the fabric of my dress shift, riding up just enough to expose way more than I had intended.

I froze the moment I saw Mia's eyes widen behind me. "Oh no," I muttered, immediately straightening up, my face flushing with embarrassment.

Y/N shot me a smug grin. "See?" she said, her voice full of satisfaction. "I told you."

Mia stood there with her mouth slightly open, clearly shocked. She quickly covered her eyes, though the grin tugging at her lips told me she wasn't fully embarrassed by what she'd just seen. "Sunday!" she gasped. "You just—" She glanced at Y/N before turning back to me, her expression a mix of surprise and something else. "You really just—flashed everyone?"

I could feel my face burning up. "This dress did not look this short when I bought it," I muttered under my breath, pulling the fabric down as much as I could.

Y/N stepped forward with that smug little grin of hers. "I tried to tell you," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "But now you know, babe." She looked at Mia, raising an eyebrow. "Did you get a good look?"

Mia blinked, still processing the situation, and then let out a little laugh. "Well, it's not every day you get to see Sunday's... assets," she teased, her eyes darting away to avoid looking at me too much.

I could have died right then and there. "Oh my god, Mia, shut up," I groaned, covering my face in embarrassment.

Y/N stood there, looking incredibly pleased with herself. "Told you, babe. I know my stuff." She walked over to me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You good?"

I shot her a playful glare. "You are so lucky I like you," I muttered, though my voice lacked any real anger. It was hard to stay mad at her when she was this smug.

Mia continued to laugh, still not letting me live it down. "I'm just saying," she teased, "if I had that view, I wouldn't complain."

I could feel my cheeks burn even more. "Stop it, Mia," I groaned, dropping my head into my hands. "I'm never listening to Y/N again."

Y/N chuckled softly, clearly enjoying every second of my humiliation. "You should've listened to me," she said, reaching for my hand. "But it's all good. You're still my favorite."

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at my lips despite everything. "Yeah, yeah. But you owe me one for this," I muttered, leaning in to kiss her on the cheek, still feeling the heat of the moment.
