THE CRISP AFTERNOON air carried the laughter of children playing, the rustling leaves, and an intermittent creaking of the playground equipment. Your little brother had come down the slide, landed perfectly on his feet, and started walking over to the monkey bars. You smiled at him for a moment before your gaze slid over towards a nearby bench.

That's when you noticed him.

A guy—maybe around your age—sat there, totally entranced with his phone. He had slightly messy hair, and his posture screamed introvert, hunched over slightly as if he wanted to fade into the background. For a moment, he looked up at you, probably sensing your gaze, and his eyes widened since he saw that you were actually looking at him.

Before he could react, you lifted a hand to wave.

Arisu blinked, visibly stunned, and then sheepishly returned you a smile. His fingers were twitching over his phone like he was in some kind of inner debate or something.

Deciding to push things along, you waved him over, motioning enthusiastically.

His mouth slightly opened as if to protest, but he sighed before reluctantly getting up and stuffing his phone into his pocket. Carefully, he climbed up onto the playground equipment toward where you were standing.

"Uh...  hey," he offered quietly, shuffling his feet.

"Hi!" you grinned. "Thought I could make a new friend because you look like you need one."

He opened his mouth slightly, appearing taken aback by your strangeness, and then turned his head away, scratching the back of his neck. "Oh. Uh... thanks, I guess."

You tilted your head, raising an eyebrow. "What's your MBTI?"

He blinked again, processing your question. "INTP," he muttered, unsure why you were asking.

Your cheeks bloomed; you smiled wider. "No way! I'm an ENTP."

He nodded slightly, utterly baffled by what that could mean, but before he could dive into the perplexity of it all, you leaned closer, resting your arm against his so you could peek at the game still open on his phone screen.

He tensed.

You didn't catch his gesture, wholly alert to the game, yours lightly resting against him. He gulped as all his circuits malfunctioned. Physical affection wasn't really his thing—especially not from a girl—especially from someone as effortlessly self-assured as you.

He opened his mouth, but at that moment, your little brother rushed up to you and stopped in between you two with a wide grin on his face. "You guys look adorable together!" he yelled. "I want him to be your husband!"

You ruffled your brother's hair with a laugh. "Is that right?"

Arisu looked as though he would burst into flames. He turned beet red and rubbed awkwardly at his neck, gazing from you to your brother as the words stuck in his throat.

"I-I mean, that's..." he mumbled, flustered beyond belief.

You laughed quietly, proving the most entertaining sight, before nudging him slightly in the side. "Don't worry. We'll start with being friends first, yeah?"

"Uhm yeah," he mumbled. "Friends first."
