After dinner, all you really wanted to do was crawl into bed and let your mind process everything that had happened today. The meeting with your manager, the unexpected offer, the conversation with Jin, the warmth of the boys welcoming you home—it was all a lot.

But before you could make a quiet escape to your room, Jungkook had other plans.

"Come on, no running away," he said, grabbing your wrist and tugging you toward the main area.

"Jungkook, I don’t think—"

"It’s just one drink," he said, grinning mischievously as he held up a bottle of soju. "Or maybe two."

"Or three," Taehyung chimed in, already flopping onto the couch.

You sighed, knowing full well this was a bad idea, but for once, you didn’t want to fight it. You’d been too careful lately, too withdrawn, too stuck in your head. Maybe letting yourself breathe for a while wouldn’t be the worst thing.

So, instead of protesting, you let Jungkook drag you onto the couch.

Yoongi, who was already seated with a drink in hand, raised an eyebrow. "Didn’t think you’d actually join us."

"Me neither," you muttered as Jungkook handed you a shot glass.

"You deserve a break," Hoseok said, settling beside you. "So, drink up."

Jin sighed dramatically from the armchair. "I already know I’ll be the one babysitting you all when you get wasted."

"We’re adults, hyung," Jimin pointed out. "We can handle ourselves."

"You say that now," Jin shot back, "but last time, you ended up crying about a puppy video at 2 AM."

Jimin gasped. "That video was emotional!"

Laughter filled the room as Namjoon poured drinks for everyone. You found yourself smiling, genuinely enjoying the energy around you.

For the first time in a long time, you let yourself relax.

It started slow—just casual drinks and harmless teasing. But after four bottles of soju disappeared between the eight of you, things took a wild turn.

Taehyung, now completely wasted, was lying upside down on the couch, staring at the ceiling with a serious expression. "Guys," he slurred, "have you ever thought… what if we’re actually the dream and someone else is dreaming us?"

Jungkook gasped dramatically, eyes widening. "Holy shit, Taehyung. That’s so deep."

"Right?"

Namjoon, drunker than he usually allows himself to be, pointed at the two of them. "Both of you shut up before I start questioning my entire existence."

Jimin, giggling, climbed onto Jin’s lap and dramatically wrapped his arms around his neck. "Hyung, you’re my favorite person in this world. You know that, right?"

Jin, half-drunk but still the most responsible, sighed, patting Jimin’s back. "Yes, Jimin. You tell me this every time we drink."

"No, but like, I love you."

"We know, Jimin," Hoseok said, cackling.

Meanwhile, Yoongi had somehow disappeared.

"Where’s Yoongi?" you mumbled, looking around.

Jungkook, now lying face-first on the floor, lifted a hand weakly. "He went to the kitchen five minutes ago… and never came back."

"That sounds ominous," you said, standing up, only to immediately stumble.
