Hi ya'll!! Cheeto is made by @ZynDidSomeThings butttt I claimed him so here's a little something to flesh him out!!

~~~
Cheeto climbs out of his cat tree, his jaws parting in a large yawn. His jump is less than graceful, but it works. He lands with a bounce, his tail whisking to regain his balance.
Cheeto's eyes find his bright orange pelt, which looks as clean as yesterday. Yesterday? Or last night? Does it matter?
Cheeto's life has been in routine with kitten-hood. Wake up, groom, eat, and meow at the door to go outside. Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't. If it does, the sun will warm his pelt and the squeaking mice provide entertainment. If not, the window, the slab of mysterious wall that is transparent, will do.
The routine is stopped at the eating part. There is no food in his bowl, and it seems there won't be for a while. The scent of his two-legs has gone stale, like they'd left at night. Huh. That's strange. Then he will have to skip his favorite step, pitifully meowing at the door.
Cheeto waltzes straight towards the window and perches there, eyes darting across the freshly-mowed lawn. The bird-chirps are strong and loud in the early day, the sun peeking out from behind fluffy white clouds. Cheeto attempts to bat the delicious-looking clouds into his open jaws. It doesn't work. His paw hits the wall, like it always does, but isn't it worth a try?
The window always gets boring after a while, but his routine stops here. He usually sleeps the rest of the day by the windowsill, napping in the filtered sun blocked by the glass, waking only to eat a dinner of dry food.
But not today.
Because, right now, as Cheeto notices, smells of grass and warmth seep from somewhere. The back door? Maybe.
The plump tom stalks towards the door, which is cracked a smidge. But that's all he needs. Peeping out into the yard, Cheeto squints his eyes. The sun shines, illuminating each blade of grass one by one. Cheeto grins. This is a perfect set up!
The spotlight shifts from the grass to Cheeto. He flaunts his pelt as he steps paw into the sea of grass. The smells all fight to be the first he picks up. Ultimately it's the smell on the wind. The most noticeable scent.
Uh-oh.
Is that his twolegs?
Back into the house he scrambles.
