The jungle fell silent, as if the entire prehistoric world had paused to observe the unfolding drama. The only sound that remained was the deep, rhythmic thud of footsteps approaching from the shadows. Each tremor in the ground sent a wave of tension through the team.

Prabu and his crew stood motionless, their eyes locked on the towering figure that emerged from the thick foliage. The Tyrannosaurus rex stepped into the clearing, its golden eyes scanning its surroundings. It was massive, larger than any they had encountered before. Its thick, scarred hide told stories of countless battles, a true apex predator ruling this land.

“Don’t move,” Prabu whispered, his voice barely audible.

Not far from them, the Triceratops herd had already sensed the predator. They began forming a defensive formation, their sharp horns pointing outward, ready to fight for their lives. The T. rex let out a deep, guttural growl, testing their reaction. Then, in a sudden burst of raw power, it lunged forward, its massive jaws snapping toward a young Triceratops.

Chaos erupted as the herd scattered in panic, the ground trembling beneath their stampede. Prabu grabbed Maya’s arm, pulling her behind a fallen log just in time to avoid being crushed. Dika and Arya barely managed to dive to safety as the dinosaurs thundered past them.

The young Triceratops, separated from the herd, let out a desperate cry. The T. rex pursued, jaws open wide. But just as the predator was about to strike, the massive matriarch of the herd charged with terrifying speed, ramming her sharp horns into its side. The impact sent the T. rex staggering backward with a furious roar of pain and rage.

Prabu knew this was their only chance. He turned to his team, his voice urgent. “We need to move now. That young one is our target.”

Dr. Sinta and Dr. Kevin quickly locked onto the separated Triceratops using their bio-tracker. It was limping, likely injured, but still alert. Reno and Arya worked fast, setting up the tranquilizer rifle. They had only one chance—too much sedative and the creature wouldn’t survive the trip, too little and it could fight back.

Arya steadied his aim, his breath slow and controlled. With a sharp hiss, the dart flew through the air, embedding itself in the Triceratops’s thick hide. The animal let out a confused snort, shaking its head before its muscles began to relax.

“It’s working,” Dr. Kevin confirmed, checking the vitals on his scanner.

Before they could act further, the ground trembled once again. The T. rex had recovered. Its golden eyes locked onto them, its nostrils flaring with renewed fury.

Maya groaned. “Oh, come on! Give us a break.”

The predator roared and charged, the earth shaking with each step. Prabu shouted for defensive positions. Dika activated the sonic deterrent, a device emitting high-frequency sounds designed to drive away predators. The T. rex hesitated, shaking its head violently as the sound distorted its senses. But it wasn’t retreating.

“It’s not working fast enough,” Reno yelled.

Before anyone could react, the matriarch Triceratops charged once more. This time, she struck with full force, ramming her horns into the predator’s ribs. The impact was devastating. The T. rex let out a final, agonized roar as it collapsed into the dense foliage.

Prabu didn’t waste a second. “Move now! Get the young one onto the sled!”

The team worked together, lifting the sedated dinosaur onto the transport platform. Reno activated the Gerbang Waktu beacon, signaling their return. Behind them, the T. rex groggily rose again, eyes burning with rage.

“We are so dead if this doesn’t work,” Maya muttered.

The Gerbang Waktu hummed to life, its energy swirling. With one final heave, the team dragged the Triceratops into the vortex, just as the T. rex lunged forward.

A flash of blinding light engulfed them.

They stumbled back onto the lab floor, the familiar artificial lights of Prehistoric Zoo glaring down on them. The air smelled of steel and antiseptic, a sharp contrast to the raw wilderness they had just escaped.

Pak Bram and several staff members rushed in, eyes widening at the sight of the sedated Triceratops. “You made it back! And you actually got one?”

Prabu wiped the sweat from his brow, glancing at his exhausted team. “Yeah… but it wasn’t easy.”

Dr. Sinta and Dr. Kevin immediately began checking the young dinosaur’s condition, ensuring it had survived the journey intact.

“This one is strong,” Dr. Sinta said, relief evident in her voice. “It’s going to be a great addition to the zoo.”

As the team caught their breath, Prabu looked out at the facility. This was just the beginning.

Prehistoric Zoo was growing.

And so were the challenges ahead.
