Bian Ji paused for a moment before asking, "Where do you want to go?"

Yan Ankuo didn't immediately give an answer; he asked back, "Are you flying out of Pudong or Hongqiao tomorrow?"

Without hesitation, Bian Ji replied, "From Pudong."

Yan Ankuo then made a firm decision, "Then we'll stay near the airport."

"Huh? But... Isn't it too far from the Hongqiao Station?" Bian Ji worried about whether he would make it to his train the next day, "It's too much trouble for you. Let's find a place that's more convenient for both of us."

"We're going to Pudong Airport," Yan Ankuo stubbornly changed the navigation destination, "I'll see you off tomorrow."

This was to reduce Bian Ji's commute time the next day, maximizing the time they could spend together while they were both awake.

Thinking about this, Bian Ji couldn't help but feel soft-hearted and didn't insist further, agreeing with a heart full of concern.

Ever since the ten-hour countdown began, both of them had started talking a lot more, as if some end-of-the-world scenario had been triggered in a game, where they had to race against time to share their thoughts with each other. Though the conversations were often trivial, their exchanges filled the gentle evening breeze of the city that never sleeps with a special warmth.

The car passed through the bustling elevated highways and arrived at the area near the airport when traffic had already thinned out.

Crew accommodations were usually arranged by the airlines, with colleagues sharing rooms in pairs. Today, however, because there was an additional Yan Ankuo, Bian Ji had to book a new room himself.

After checking the remaining room availability, the front desk apologized, "There's only one business king-size bed room left."

"No problem," said Bian Ji.

Following behind him, Yan Ankuo jokingly whispered, "Thanks for the hospitality, Chief Attendant Bian."

Bian Ji found it hard not to think of something else, stifling a laugh and gently pinching his face when no one was around.

Almost everyone in this hotel was a colleague from the airline industry. Bian Ji greeted people three times just in the elevator, surrounded by familiar faces. Walking beside him, Yan Ankuo inevitably attracted numerous inquisitive glances.

Bian Ji quickly walked down the corridor, swiped the door open, and let the person inside.

The door slammed shut. Yan Ankuo wasted no time, locking the door with one hand while pressing Bian Ji against it with the other, kissing him.

Caught off guard by the sudden kiss, Bian Ji caught his breath and asked, "So eager today?"

"A lot of people were looking at you earlier," Yan Ankuo seemed displeased, biting down hard on Bian Ji's shoulder, "Why are you so appealing to others?"

Bian Ji protested, "They're all just colleagues..."

Yan Ankuo remarked, "Looks like you're on good terms with all of them."

Bian Ji fell silent, fearing swollen lips when he met people the next day if he continued speaking.

Yan Ankuo's kissing skills were indeed exceptional, moving deftly. Unbeknownst to Bian Ji, he was pushed halfway out of his uniform and onto the king-sized bed, forced to turn over.

Yan Ankuo was like a seductive merman, pinning him down and whispering by his ear, "Is it okay?"

Bian Ji swallowed, "Mm."
