"Poppy, Maatashree, we both got 497 out of 500.." Ruhi smiled looking at the photo frames.

"And Dadda, your princess is the state topper of this year.."  Abhir said with a sparkle in his eyes.

Their eyes fell on the bowl which had the infinity bracelet. Both looked at each other. In those 18 years their family had tried several times to search for Akshara but could neither locate her or her child.

"God knows where Akshara Maasi is.. Today is such a big day, I'm sure you will be missing her." Ruhi softly said placing her hand on Abhir's shoulder.

"No, I don't miss her Ruhi.. The 7 year old Abhir missed his mom.. He was desperately waiting to meet her at the orphanage.. But not this 25 year old Abhir.. The day I got to know she had simply left without searching for me, something died within me.. And the sad part is even after 18 years it still pains me.. I don't know why."

Ruhi - "Coz she's your mother Billa boy.. You love her"

"Ya the mother, who never looked for me and didn't even bother to know if I was alive or dead in these 18 years.. too much motherhood.." Abhir sarcastically  chuckled wiping his lone tear.

He looked at Ruhi, "When I was young, I didn't understand but now when I look back, my mother's recklessness did end up taking your mother's life... You should hate my mother and me as well.. But you aren't.. Why?"

"Because hating won't bring back my Maatashree, Billa boy.. With age I realised what happened was an accident. Yes, Akshara Maasi could've handled the situation better but sometimes situations are beyond our control. I know even she loved Maatashree immensely and could never think of harming her. I can either hold onto the hate and burn my heart or find the little happiness that life has given me.."

"I know Abhir, life has been unfair with us.. We both have lost our loved ones. I can't even imagine how your life would've been had we not found you at the orphanage. But look at the brighter side. We've each other. Our family. Shivu Bhaiya, Akash, Gowri, B Nanu and B Nani"

Abhir sat on the sofa and Ruhi sat beside him. "How long will you keep this hatred in your heart Abhir? Will you never speak with Maasi even if you meet her one day?"

Abhir rested his head on Ruhi's shoulder, "I don't know how I'll react Ruhi.. But I think I'll speak with her and ask her why she left me.. But for that I need to know where and how she is.. Which I don't know... I don't even know if we have an another brother or a sister.. I know nothing.." he said leaving a deep sigh

"One day everything will be alright, Abhir.. And you'll get all your answers" Ruhi softly replied. 

By then Goenka's arrived. Abhir and Ruhi went to the hall and greeted them. "Congratulations buddy and princess" Manish proudly smiled.

"Thank you B Nanu" Ruhi and Abhir replied.

"Let's celebrate!!!" Shivansh happily screamed playing on party songs. Everyone started dancing. 

Just then Manish's phone started ringing. He disconnected and place it on the side table and continued dancing. After few minuted, it again started ringing. Abhir picked the phone, "Hello?"

"Hello" a young girl replied softly and Abhir felt an uncanny connection like he somehow knew this girl.

"Am I speaking with Manish Goenka?" she asked trying to hold back her tears.

"Aap kon? (Who are you?)" Abhir asked concernedly.

"Abhira Sharma" the girl replied.
