"Don't worry. I came here to face him. There's nothing bad that will happen to me. Hm? Trust me." She assured before letting go of her mother's hand before she reached for the door to open it but her mother stopped her by walking first, passing her by as her mother led the way instead while she was going in behind.

They both look at the man silently flipping the page of his magazine while sitting on the sofa. The guards inside surrounded them they were almost everywhere in the house. While she was lost in her thoughts, her mother pulled her behind her and tried to protect her from his cruel father. "Yebin needs to rest for school tomorrow. Let her rest."

Yebin's father aggressively closes the magazine and puts it on the top of the table; he walks toward the two females while his eyes are fixed on his daughter's presence behind his wife. "Yunho, let your daughter rest. Please."

The pleading eyes of her mother made Yebin bite her lower lip; she hated seeing her beg, for the sight of it was not the view she wanted to see. She hates seeing her this way, and every time, it never fails to break her. Her dad turned his head on one of the guards, and suddenly, all of them held her mother, dragging her away from her daughter. "Yunho! She's still your daughter! Blame me instead for letting her choose that school again! Yunho, please..."

"Daughter? " Her father bitterly chuckled as his hand immediately reached to grip her arm. Her mother being pulled away by the guards makes it easy for him to hurt her. The rage in his father's eyes and the rage in her makes the tension heavier between them. Especially Yebin is determined to stand up for herself after experiencing a lot like this with him, and this will be the first time her fear is hidden.

"Does my daughter try to ruin my reputation?" He asked while tightening his hold on her arms, almost ripping them apart, but Yebin's face kept it empty. She responded sarcastically  "What reputation? Didn't I ruin it the last time?"

Yebin was forcefully landed on the ground after being slapped hard by her father. She stayed in her position while both hands supported her body so as not to fall. Even though she's not directly looking at him, she knows he's throwing daggers at her, almost wanting to hurt her more.

"How dare you disobey me?! I didn't waste my fucking time to get you out of that school only for you to go back!" Her father reached for her hair, pulling it too hard, which made Yebin wince a bit, but she was fighting back the pain even with dripping blood on her lips due to the slap she had received. She chuckled as her response tried to frustrate and get him mad even more.

"I told you to stay away from Hanwool. What did you do?!" Yebin winced in pain when he slapped her once again, completely falling on the floor. She slowly gets up while still sitting on the ground, glaring at his father. Her hair was messy looking so miserable. Her mother, at the side, continues to break free from the guards trying to stop his husband. If only he knew, he was never going to believe.

"You're just an ungrateful child who I wish didn't even exist." He kicks her right on her shoulder, making a loud thud on the ground due to how hard he just kicked her. Yebin, on the other hand, winced in pain once again, hugging herself. But what's more painful now is to hear those words coming out of his mouth. Tears stream down her eyes. What makes it painful to hear it many times? She should've gotten used to it, right? But maybe she's not that strong enough to pretend that she didn't wish it wouldn't hurt like this.
