"Great, rain" Damien said, as we reached home. I was still sleepy so the moment the couch caught my eyes, I flung myself in it.
And in time, my favorite show was happening right now. My shoes came off then my socks, feeling the cold breeze. "Did you even lock the windows" My voice trembled.
"That was your job to do them" an envelope was thrown on my face then the seat beside me was sunken. Grumbling, I sat up, Grabbing the envelope and opened it as Damien watched.
"I'm not going" I saw the first words and declined immediately.
"It's your grandparents, Mike" Yeah and everyone, even Sabrina. He will definitely bring Romeo too. Just my luck.
"This is not up for discussion. We are going" He said, his voice edged with seriousness. I used both of my foot, kicking him off the couch and shielded myself with the pillows.
His hands caught my legs then seconds later I was being dragged on the floor. "You dumbass!" I shouted, noticing we were heading outside. Trying to give him a few kicks, he lets go and I chuckled about to run.
His arm wrapped around me, stopping me from running and also stirring something inside me. Brushing it off, I tried to use my elbow but he grabbed my arm, holding them in one place. My feet's off the floor, wiggling uncontrollably. Then at that moment I saw only black when the water hit me.
Damiens unwrapped his arms from me, grabbing me by the wrist to pull me up. Once we reached the surface, I couldn't stop laughing, "Miss Clarke, he tried to drown me!" I shouted at our neighbor.
She rolled her eyes, jokily at our foolishness and headed inside when her cat tried to escape. "Snitches get snitched" Damien hopped out the pool, grabbing towels from the beach chairs before throwing me one.
The door ring several times, filling the house with noise. "Here comes the boyfriend" I said, teasingly, running into the living room then the upstairs.
