"I told him" I said, my voice panicking. Zane and Julian eyes widened as they sat up from whatever they were watching.
"Like you told him" I nodded when his hand reached my wrist, pulling me down on the couch. "Calm down. Did he react a way or said anything negative"
"No I left before he could utter a word"
My hands shaking still as Zane comforted me for the first time. "God, that was a coward move, right?" I buried my face in my hands, groaning at the thought that keeps replaying.

"I should have told him when summer ended, right?" I asked. Julian handed me a glass of water, replying. "Maybe that happened for a reason" he reassured me and that wasn't working.

"Okay, you want me to call Romeo?" Zane inquired, pulling his phone out. I didn't know why I hesitated but I force myself to snap back. nodding when it worked, "Yeah"
