I rolled my eyes but couldn't suppress the grin forming on my face. "Let's just hope I don't end up in a love triangle with these two."

Jane's smirk was wicked as she glanced at me sideways. "Oh, V. I have no doubt that'll happen."

And with that, I knew tomorrow would bring a whole new level of chaos. But honestly, I couldn't wait to see how it all unfolded. I really hope no one was going to make this a too big of a deal of this.

I couldn't help but smile to myself, my mind replaying the events of the night. Of course, Jane caught onto it instantly.

"What's got you smiling like that, Vienna Moonvale?" she teased, wiggling her eyebrows in that exaggerated way she always did when she knew something was up.

I shrugged casually, trying to hide the satisfaction bubbling inside me. "Nothing. Just thinking about what Draco said right before he left," I said, my tone almost too nonchalant as I stared at the ceiling, pretending to be unaffected.

Her eyes immediately narrowed with interest, clearly eager for the full scoop. "What did he say?" she asked, practically bouncing in place.

I smirked, teasing her a bit longer before finally giving in. "Well, he said, and I quote, 'If you ever want to get back at him again, I'd be more than happy to help. I wouldn't mind snogging you again sometime.'"

The effect was immediate. Jane's eyes went wide, her jaw dropped, and she actually squeaked. "No way! He actually said that? Oh my god, V." She leaned forward, her voice dropping to a whisper, "Did he mean it? Because if he did, that's a major move."

I raised an eyebrow at her, trying to act unaffected. "I don't know. It seemed pretty serious to me, but Draco's Draco, you know?" I shrugged again, though the butterflies in my stomach were hard to ignore. "But I mean, he's not wrong. It was a good kiss."

Jane stared at me, wide-eyed. "Wait, wait. So, you're telling me you're actually considering it? Let him help you to 'get back at' Riddle, I mean?"

I rolled my eyes but the grin that tugged at my lips betrayed me. "I don't know yet. Honestly, I'm just enjoying the chaos for now."

She laughed, the sound full of mischief. "Of course you are. You love it, don't you? Stirring up drama with two of the hottest guys at school... I mean, come on, you're literally living everyone's fantasy right now."

I chuckled, though I couldn't deny there was a part of me that enjoyed the idea. "I guess I am," I admitted.

Jane's expression softened for a moment, and she gave me a thoughtful look. "You know I'm all about supporting you, right? But... maybe it's time to actually think about what you want, instead of just playing this game."

I let out a long sigh, feeling the weight of her words. "I know. I've been doing that a lot lately, just reacting. But tonight made me think. I don't want to screw things up more than I already have."

She gave me a reassuring smile. "You'll figure it out. Just don't let these guys control the story. You're the one holding the cards here, V."

I nodded, grateful for her wisdom. "Thanks, Jane. I'll try to keep that in mind. But right now, I just need a little sleep and maybe a bit more time to let all this sink in."

She smiled, getting up from the bed. "I hear you. But you know, when you do figure it out, I want the first text. And don't forget: you owe me all the juicy details when it's all said and done."

"Deal," I agreed, smiling back as she left the room.

As I lay there in the silence of my dorm room, I couldn't help but replay everything from the night—the kiss with Draco, the chaos with Mattheo, and the unspoken tension that hung between us all. Things were definitely getting complicated, but maybe Jane was right. It was time to take control of my own narrative.
