Hyunjin's eyes were half lidded as he casually stroked Felix's hair. Threading it between his finger before slightly gripping it and letting go.
Everyone had left him and he sighed. He was bored. Looking down at the calm sleeping demon, he let out a small chuckle. With a softness he grabbed the demon's wrist, lifting up his black blouse sleeve with ease and stared at the mark.
Tilting his head he traced it before a soft grunt left the said demon. Then he grabbed his phone. And sent a quick message before lying back down and shuffling into a more comfortable spot.
"Mm hyunjin?" Felix grumbled out feeling his body being shuffled. His eyes opened to see Hyunjin with a pout on his face, and his beautiful black hair curving his face hovering above him.
He truly was the most beautiful angel he had laid eyes on. Watching as Hyunjin closed his eyes and laid on him.
"Apparently you get sick when I'm away from you," hyunjin sighed before looking away, "...do you...do you think that bond exists?" Hyunjin asked, his voice timid. His head now laying on Felix who turned away fighting the heat crawling to his neck.
I mean, if a pretty angel laid on you, it would be wrong to not blush.
"I'm not sure...this event isn't broadcasted or something. I don't know...what we are supposed to be doing other than not killing each other...why?"
"Hmm just curious. Let's go to sleep. I'm sleepy now and you're really warm."
Felix let out a laugh before closing his eyes. Though not before muttering a few words and shuffling.
"We should get to know eachother more some time."
Hyunjin smiled.
"Sure."
...
Han stood in awe. It was beautiful. He had no idea where Seungmin teleported them but the flowers that covered the floor and sides of a huge caccoon? Han couldn't even describe it.
A hole inside of a huge wide tree, with willow trees as tall as a mountain allowing for the leaves to sway around it creating a safe center. Lillies and pink roses sprouted seemingly out of the air and clung to the willow tree leaves, the sound of a waterfall was heard near him but he couldn't take his eyes off the beautifully carved steps of wood with flowers etched onto it.
Vines curled around the stairs as he walked up them with Seungmin beside him, and Han stopped to admire Seungmin. The angel had built this by the use of his power, by himself. And this hidden place of his where he ran to hide, he showed to a demon like him. Who has killed people. Who had mocked him yet here he was. Seungmin turned to see Han staring at him. He smiled.
"This place...is special to me. It was one of the first things I've created when I was deemed my role. It felt...safe."
Seungmin paused, closing his eyes as he smelled the world around him, this was a liminal area. Hidden far in the crevices of Heaven, where no creature besides the ones he allowed bothered him. He liked the sounds of cooing doves so they flew around, their nest hidden in the willow trees. Butterflies who shook their wings. And a few others Seungmin would see time to time and wave.
"It's beautiful...I forgot about nature...in Hell we don't see this...but I guess we were put there for a reason. Are you okay?" Han asked, the reason why they were here was so they could not only be safe but share feelings. And truth be told he was...relieved. He didn't want to tell the demons, no not yet. And he wouldn't tell Seungmin everything but he'd like someone who could relate...in his panicking state.
Seungmin let out a soft smile, his eyes doe-y and Han had never felt the urge to coo at him. He only ever does that to Jeongin on rare--and usually mockingly-- occasions. But seungmin was different, he was actually pure and very cute.
Han smiled back, not knowing what else to do as they finally made their way to the entrance of the tree and when he went inside, Wow.
It was beautifully cozy. And his eyes didn't leave the huge flower sprouted at the top with a light beaming on it.
"I created her. She is an angelic flower species. Would you like tea?" Seungmin turned once again to Han as he motioned so a very soft and fluffy looking chair that had petals around it. It looked as if someone placed the worlds softess pillow in the center of a huge flower and Han nodded.
Seungmin disappeared for a bit before coming back with two teacups, the floral emitting from it made Han close his eyes.
Before he turned to see Seungmin curling up inside the other flower chair."Would you like...to start or me? I'm sure mine is way less interesting of course.. "
Seungmin fanned his hand. His wings curling.
"I believe everyone's story is important. Chan taught me that. I was pretty upset at first...after my kidnapping but Chan opened my eyes."
Han shuddered. Seungmin was kidnapped. That word sat heavy on Han's tongue but he pushed it back.
"Kidnapped...and you survived?"
Seungmin laughed.
"I did...it happened when I was recently deemed an angel. I was around 14 years old. They took me when I accidently followed a cat. It was a grey cat, with a small collar and it kept beckoning me to follow so I did. I didn't know it was from Hell back then..."
Seungmin paused as he began to fiddle with his hands. Han wanted to say "you don't have too" but Seungmin continued.
"I was at the edge, and then strong and heated arms grabbed me and before I could say anything there was a chain placed on my neck, created by rituals I couldn't teleport away. And being so young I didn't have the strength to fight them back.
They took me. To a cage, I was bare..." seungmin closed his eyes and began to hug his body.
"They clawed at my skin, they liked to use techniques on me, practice. What hurt more...or what did the most damage. They liked to place the fire for the wicked souls onto me, then with their fingers push into my wound. They would...break..sorry. they would step on my wings...and jump so they would break." Seungmin gripped harder around himself, the memories rushing. Han wanted to do anything, maybe a hug? But he wasn't sure and instead he stayed seated. But then his eyes lingered to the curled wings and he saw just a sliver...of a scar. When he stared at Seungmin's palm he realized there was another scar. He froze, his robe covered everything but his collarbones, hands, and wrists. What other bigger scared did Seungmin hide under his robe?
It hit Han hard. At first the demons believed maybe the angels were lying to get some sort of rile from them. That it was some fucked up joke but it wasn't. The scars were real. The way Seungmin's body reacted was real. And any of the stereotypes Han believed from these angels were wiped clean. And then he wondered if any of ther angels were hurt too.
"I would beg...over and over again but they were relentless. They'd beat me for days on end. I kept trying to plead to God. To help me. But there was silence. Until one day a saw a flower. I think I made it up in my head since I loved them even when I was younger but it calmed me. Then at that very moment warrior angels charged and freed me." Seungmin rubbed at his eyes.
"Is that when you got your powers?"
"Yeah...it is."
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry you had to go through that...I'm sorry that we didn't believe you. I do. Now, I believe you. And I'm sorry, that I'm--well also the others but that we're dicks. Changbin just hated you guys for his mother's death but you guys have also suffered." Han looked down, in this moment, with Seungmin he felt guilty but he believed something big was going to happen.
But he wasn't afraid. And in that moment, a familiar cat-like eyes appeared in his thoughts.
"Do you want to go next? In our little spill session?"
Han smiled.
"Im not sure what to say. But ill try."
