It wasn't supposed to be like this tonight. There was supposed to be a sky full of stars with the brilliant full moon in the sky.

It was supposed to be the perfect scenery, the perfect resting place. The aura would have fit perfectly but of course, you didn't get what you wanted.

A deep sigh left your mouth, your chest rising and falling as you fixed your position atop the building. For just becoming dusk, the sky was terribly dark.

So dark it was like a void of emptiness that would swallow you up and leave you empty, alone for all eternity.

Maybe you would have actually been devoured by such a fate if it weren't for the thick nebulous smog that enveloped the area.

Your vision was slightly altered due to the fog, shielding below from your intense gaze that burned brighter than any light.

A cool wind blew against your frame and pricked your skin. Although the temperature of the outside rivaled that of winter, you felt no effect on your body.

Goosebumps would have risen along your limbs if you weren't colder than the breeze that blew against your body.

"Geez, this mist is f*cking annoying." You muttered in a low tone, gazing upon the dense fog. Slowly you brought up your right hand and faced it upon the swirling mist below.

A light periwinkle glow illuminated off of your palm, glowing dimly in the dark night. Gradually the mist diminished, the view beneath becoming visible allowing for you to finally see the broken city below.

It felt like a dystopian area with how vacant and abandon the small city was. Although there were multiple towering buildings lined up one by one, they were all deserted.

All but one that is. All but one that should have never even been built. Your fingers twitched by your side as you stared at that one building.

There was barely any light, the only source coming from the very few still functioning lamp posts.

That was until you saw the bright headlights of a car illuminate the small skinny roads towards you.

Quickly you fell to your knees and peaked your head above the balcony fence atop the tall building.

You shielded yourself as the car slowly pulled along the sidewalk and parked. Right in front of that dreadful building.

Ringing noise echoed in the vast area as Akihiro stepped out of his vehicle and slammed the door shut.

Your lungs tightened at the sight of the older man. You grasped the edge of the balcony, your fingers pressing into it as the stone fence frozen beneath your palm.

The black-haired male below glided a hand along the strands of his slick back hair while he assessed the area. He surveyed the city, looking for any signs of people or media.

As he gazed around his attention was brought up to the building you were hiding in. Luckily for the dark, you were safely hidden.

You could see him but he could not see you. The hero's red orbs pierced through the darkness, glowing brightly.
