The Host choked on the water he was drinking after listening to the best part of the story.

'Kya? Maya? You mean Maya Jay Singh jinke sath Haseena ji ka past tha?' The Host asked.

And Karishma rolled her eyes yet nodding her head anyway.
She still get irritated whenever she remembered that someone else was there in Haseena's life at some point.

Karishma didn't know what to do at that moment. She was looking at Haseena's face who's eyes were widened like she saw something unexpected.

And Karishma clenched her jaw as a irritation flickered in her chest.

She remembered the day when Haseena first mentioned the name of Maya. Karishma was annoyed at that day but back then she didn't name the uneasy feeling she was having, but right now Karishma knew what it was.

It was jealousy.
Raw jealousy.

'Maya tum yaha?' Haseena asked.

Karishma clenched her fist tightly to not snap at her or on Maya. She has no right to act like this cause she already has a Husband.

Also Ks knew that Haseena had a past and she can't change that part, but it didn't hurt less.

For the first time in her life Karishma has felt this possessiveness towards someone and what was making it worse that Maya was beautiful, exceptionally beautiful.

Insecurity gathered at her stomach as she looked at them.

'Kaisi ho Haseena?' Maya asked her.

As if she was expecting that one day or another they will meet again.

'Hum thik hai. Tum batao?' Haseena asked.

Karishma felt like out of place, she didn't belong there.

Ks could imagine a 15 year old Haseena and Maya roaming in this neighborhood, she could imagine the way Maya knew more of Haseena than she ever could.

And she hated it. Karishma hated the fact that Maya was her past but yet she had this hold on Haseena. She could feel it.

Because Karishma knew. Sometimes in life good people arrive in wrong time, and Maya was a good person, Haseena told her that. But right now Hm was not a coward person anymore. She was mature, so what if Haseena choose Maya and not Karishma?

Ks gulped down the lump in her throat as she looked how genuinely Maya was smiling.

And then to her worse nightmare, Haseena smiled. A genuine smile was there on her face.

Karishma felt like she couldn't breath. Yes she knew she liked Haseena but right now ks understood how much she liked Hm and how strong her feelings were.

Cause, it was the first time she saw a smile that was not directed at her.

Haseena looked at Karishma.

'Maya, inse milo ye hai Karishma Singh, humari neighbor' she introduced her.

Ks forced a smile on her face, because she didn't feel like smiling instead she wanted to cry or scream.

Maya forwarded her hand and Karishma accepted.

'Nice to meet you Karishma' she greeted.
