You're Making Me Crazy, Professor [COMPLETED]

It’s already Tuesday, and wala na akong klase until next Monday. Lola has been asking me multiple times kung kailan ako pupunta sa probinsya, but I still haven’t decided yet since Ms. Sanchez hasn’t messaged me. Honestly, I’ve been waiting for her text, kahit wala naman akong kasiguraduhan kung magmemessage siya. 

But if she don’t want to come with me, that’s fine. I think I’ll just ask my friends to go with me instead. 

Right now, I’m just here in my room, halos wala akong ginagawa kundi maglaro ng CODM at maghintay sa message niya. I haven’t gone outside either—ang init kasi, and besides, nakakatamad lumabas. So, I decided to play CODM again. I was about to open the app when I suddenly remembered—pwede ko naman pala siyang i-message. I have her number, after all. 

Without thinking twice, I typed a message. 

Ms. Sungit

Me:
Hi, Miss. I miss you!

I stared at the message for a second before pressing send. Akala ko nga hindi niya ako papansinin, but to my surprise, wala pang isang minuto, naka-seen na siya. 

A few seconds later, her reply popped up. 

Ms. Sungit:
?

Me:
Okay ka lang?

Are something bothered you?

You can say to me if something are wrong.

I am listened, Miss.

I grinned, trying to suppress a laugh as I rapidly sent those messages. 

Then, after a short pause, her reply came again. 

Ms. Sungit:
What’s your problem, Gomez? It’s 5:30 AM.

Napangiti ako. Agad akong nag-type ulit. 

Me:
I miss you nga :(

I don’t usually send emojis like this, or anything you’d call “pa-cute,” but damn. Ang cute ko. 

Her response was quick and, as expected, cold. 

Ms. Sungit
I don’t. Can you stop messaging me now? Let me sleep peacefully, Gomez.

I chuckled.

Me:
Why are you still replying then? Hindi mo lang ako matiis, o miss mo rin ako?

I was still smiling when I saw her next move. 

Seen.

Grabe siya. Hindi na nag-reply. Ilang minuto na akong naghihintay, pero wala. She really just left me on read. 

I sighed before deciding to send another message. 

Me:
I’m kidding, okay? Hindi ka na nag-reply. I just wanted to ask—sasama ka ba sa'kin sa probinsya? They've been asking me about it so many times, but I was waiting for you.

I really want her to come. I want to spend time with her. I know I’ll be bored there, but if she’s with me, boredom won’t even exist. Kahit anong gawin namin, basta kasama ko siya, I’m happy and content.
