Jungkook placed two small bowls on the table in front of them. One was filled with small folded papers, the other empty. A single candle flickered between them, casting their shadows along Jimin's living room walls.

Taehyung sat across from him on the floor, legs crossed, his head tilted curiously. "Ooh, what's this doctor? Are we summoning ghosts?"

Jungkook ignored the comment and pushed the filled bowl toward Taehyung. "Each paper has a situation written on it. You'll pick one, read it, and decide if it belongs in the 'right' or 'wrong' category." He tapped the empty bowl. "That's where you'll put your answer."

Taehyung's grin stretched. "Oh, this is adorable. A little morality lesson."

"Something like that," Jungkook said smoothly. "Go ahead."

Taehyung reached in, pulling out a random paper. He unfolded it, scanning the words before reading aloud in a sing song voice, "Stealing food to feed a starving child." His eyes flickered up to Jungkook, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Mm. Interesting."

Jungkook watched him patiently. "And?"

Taehyung twirled the paper between his fingers. "Well, stealing is bad, isn't it?"

"But the child is starving," Jungkook countered.

Taehyung chuckled. "Are you expecting me to have some grand moral epiphany, doctor?"

"I expect you to answer."

Taehyung tapped the paper against his chin, then, slowly, he dropped it into the wrong bowl.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Even if it was to save a life?"

Taehyung's grin widened. "Why should I care?"

Jungkook leaned forward slightly. "You hesitated before answering."

Taehyung merely shrugged. "Next round." He plucked another paper, unfolding it with lazy fingers. "Killing someone who has harmed innocent people." He hummed, tilting his head. "Now, this is fun."

Jungkook didn't say anything, watching.

Taehyung played with the paper a moment longer before dropping it into the right bowl. "What? No judgment?" he teased.

Jungkook only nodded. "Keep going."

One by one, the papers disappeared into the bowls. With each scenario, Taehyung's expressions shifted ever so slightly, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes entertained. He played along.

And then, Taehyung pulled a paper, opened it, and for the first time, his fingers stilled.

He didn't read it aloud.

Jungkook frowned. "What does it say?"

Taehyung's tongue flicked over his lips, a glimmer of something unreadable in his eyes. Then, he grinned. "Nothing important."

Jungkook held out a hand. "Let me see."

Taehyung chuckled but didn't resist, slipping the paper into Jungkook's palm.

Jungkook's gaze flickered down. The words were simple.

"A child looks up at you and says: I love you."

Silence.

Jungkook studied him carefully. Taehyung held that same eerie grin.

"You didn't answer," Jungkook said, setting the paper down between them.

Taehyung's grin stretched wider. "Because it's not a question doctor."

Jungkook tilted his head. "Then tell me- what would you do?"
