When The Decepticons Invented Protogens

Dyne gasped, why in Megatronus's name did Pyroat do that!? They were just getting answers from Runby, too. However, though he wouldn't approve of the killing of Runby, from what he could gather, his sentience was split across every clone, so from a logical standpoint, no real damage was done. Dyne held his paw up to his faceplate, now that he thought about it, it wasn't that bad of a choice. Pyroat dusted her paws off as her flamethrower slid back into her arm,"Now that that's taken care of, training complete! Let's take the lift back up and report back to Brawl of our job well done." Dyne turned to Aerocip and saw a worried expression on her faceplate, he tried to assure her, "No one was really hurt, 'Cip. We'll all be fine" She didn't respond in words, instead forcing a smile at Dyne, waiting for the lift to take them back up. Only, it didn't. The lift stayed embedded into the ground; refusing to budge. A fourth and final hidden door opened up slowly, they heard the noise of transformation and Runby's voice issue from the small, dark room;"I thought you guys were different; actually caring about how I came to be." He laughed; an unstable, low pitch sound, "Well, why else would we be called "Decepticons" if it weren't for the fact that we lie and fight dirty? Time to show you why I'm the frontline of the Decepticon army."The Vehicon sped out of the room in sports car form; zooming towards Pyroat and shouted: "You wanted training?" He transformed and slid towards Pyroat, kicking her legs out from under her; she fell to the ground but remained functional. He brought down his sword to finish her off, but she rolled out of the way in time. Slightly smaller than Runby, she slid under his legs and slashed at the steel of his foreleg; leaving a burning streak of metal across his limb. Pyroat ran towards Dyne and Aerocip, out of breath, she spoke to them,"Well, you guys have blasters! Shoot that crazy Vehicon!" Dyne was in the process of unholstering his rifle from his back as she said this, and he took aim and fired at Runby as soon as he could. Runny dodge-rolled out of the way before the laser could connect. The Vehicon's sight turned solely on Dyne, it was easy for Aerocip to pull out her small blaster and shoot at Runby's back, it connected with his backside and short-circuited him; causing him to shake uncontrollably as his body tried to regulate the flow of electricity within himself. It was the perfect opening for an attack. Pyroat called to Aerocip, "Push him with all your force!" Aerocip nodded and aimed her Air Compression Thrusters at Runby, in a sudden blast of air, Runby was launched into the far wall; crashing against it and slumping over. He struggled in picking himself back up, and once he did, he was limping towards them. He laughed, his tone shifting from hostile to something more positive,"You things are worthy Decepticons, haven't had a good fight in a while..." A shot from Dyne's rifle pierced through Runby's chest component; killing him as he fell to his knee joints and onto his stomach.

Hey, Ordep (author) here! This is just a note that the Vehicon in question in based heavily off of the Warrior type Ground Soldier from Transformers Devastation; I grew up with that game, and I love it dearly.  Speaking of loving, I put a lot of creativity and care into this story, and I love that you guys are checking it out! (I appreciate feedback, whether it be votes or comments! Just be honest with me!)
