[The episode begins in the former borders of the Trinity district, now laid waste to destruction and rubble. The distant gunfire can be heard within each respective school, though it gets quieter as students continue to fall back further and further to escape from the Chroma's overwhelming invasion. The scene transitions to Hifumi who finds herself lost behind enemy lines.]

Hifumi: Mmm... (wakes up and stands up)
[As Hifumi stands up, she discovers she is alone and the Crusader tank she was in is now flipped over. She then notices the destroyed buildings and debris around her cause by the invasion ranging from broken vehicles to former district shops...]
Hifumi: (nervous expression) W-Where am I? Is this Trinity? (horrified expression) ...No, I can't freeze. I need to get back to the others...
*Marching sounds*
Hifumi: ...!
[Hifumi looks over the huge rubble pile and sees a huge Chroma army of animal automatons marching through the Trinity and Arius districts. They move as though they are celebrating a parade, yet their smiley animal heads hide the terror they will inflict towards the students. Hifumi quietly retreats back so they do not notice her...]
Hifumi: (horrified expression) I-I need to hide...
[Hifumi drags her shaken feet until she is able to run away. Unknowingly, Hifumi runs towards the direction of an abandoned amusement park with a sign that reads "Slumpia," the same location where haunted trains and horrors await...]
[At the same time in the Abydos district, Problem Solver 68 are on the run against a formidable army of Chroma automatons. They continue fighting them while staying separated at different positions with Mutsuki and Haruka on the ground and Aru taking a sniper position from a faraway building...]
