Your new mom and dad walked you to your room, holding your hand with such care that it felt like you were floating. You looked at pictures hung on the wall. A picture with the mom and dad together, "Melanie and Grant" engraved on the frame. Was, that their names? Her new parents names??

They watched her go upstairs one step at a time, always by her side so she doesn't get injured. Reaching the top, the look down at her, holding a hand out as Ellie holds onto their hands.  Walking through the hall, she sees some toys on the ground in front of a door. Looking up, she sees "Ellie" in playful colorful words. My room... this must be it. Looking to the side, she notices a cat stuffed animal, looking at it in awe. Grant reached his hand out, opening the door as it opens wider and wider. Revealing the bright room as sunlight shines on the floor and walls.

Ellie's room was now completely different to what it was before, completely changed and transformed like everything else had been. The room was a sanctuary of pastel colors, the walls decorated with adorable animals and insects. The floor was a thick, soft carpet that cushioned her tiny feet, making each step feel like walking on cloud.

A crib in the corner had been in the far corner of the room with a cute baby blanket draped over the side. The opposite corner with a twin-sized bed stood proudly on a custom frame carved with care. The headboard was adorned with a heart in the center, and on each side, Stitch and Angel leaned toward each other in a loving kiss. The endboard matched, forming a fairytale-like throne. The covers were a plush, dreamy pink, and for the first time since the change, Ellie's heart swelled—not with fear, but with a tentative warmth.

Towering bookshelves hugged the wall, some of various heights. Rows of Ellie's now-new favorite books were tucked in beside glittery-titled ones she hadn't seen before. Shelves dedicated to various stuffed animals, each plush looked picked with love and intention. They watched over you with their button and stitched on eyes, as if they were guardians of your newfound peace. Each one looked so lifelike and cuddly. Ellie felt a pang of sadness as she thought about her real family, but pushed it aside as best as she could. The knickknacks scattered on the shelves were all adorable, little figurines and trinkets that filled the room with a sense of wonder and joy. They were all arranged in a way that made it seem like they were having their own little party, just waiting for her to join in.

As they approached the bed, Melanie and Grant shared a quiet, knowing smile, like there was a secret between them Ellie wasn't meant to know just yet. She walked to the side of the bed, looking down as she notices she's  standing on a cheerful rug custom designed as Stitch. They lifted her carefully and set her on the bed, the softness of the mattress making Ellie feel like she was sinking into a warm hug. The sheets were cool and silky, a soft contrast to the fleecy plushness of her pajamas. She couldn't help but let out a content sigh as she felt herself enveloped by the warmth and comfort of your new bed.

They stepped back, watching as she snuggled into the blankets, her favorite fox pillow pet still where you rest her head. Seemingly Ellie's whole collection of pillow pets had been untouched. Maybe even having more than she had before, new cute faces. The crib looked so small and far away now, almost like a memory from a distant past. Apparently still used for occasions. Melanie leaned over, her soft hands brushing the hair out of Ellie's eyes. "Sleep tight, little one," she whispered, her voice filled with a warmth that seemed to radiate into her soul. She kissed your forehead, her lips feeling like the softest feathers against Ellie's skin.

Grant stepped closer, a gentle smile on his face. He tucked the blankets around Ellie, ensuring that she was nestled in bed tightly. His large hand rested on her shoulder for a moment, and she could feel the strength in it, a reassurance that she were safe now. "We love you so much," he said, his voice deep and soothing. Ellie smiles and blinks, her eyes already heavy with exhaustion. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her, despite the fear that still lingered in the back of her mind.

They pulled the covers over her, tucking her in with a care that was both foreign and comforting. The fox pillow pet was placed under her head. Ellie snuggled into it, the scent of fresh fabric and a hint of something that reminded her of home. She felt a bit of sadness, remembering the last time she had seen her real mother, but the softness of the pillows and the gentle strokes of Melanie hand across her forehead pushed the thoughts away.

Melanie then picked up the blanket that had once been your brother, holding it with a tenderness. She gently placed it over Ellie, the weight of it a comforting reminder of the protection it had once provided. As it settled onto the bed, the soft fabric caressed her new, smaller form.

Melanie leaned over and kissed her forehead, as Melanie and Grant turned around leaving Ellie's room. She leaves the door lightly ajar, blowing a kiss to her as she leaves. The room grew quieter as the footsteps of her new parents faded down the hall. The only sounds left were the distant murmurs of their voices. She felt a warmth spread through her, a strange feeling of belonging in this twisted reality.

Snuggled in the plush pajamas, she clutched the duck stuffie to her chest and pulled the blankets and comforters closer. The softness of the material was a stark contrast to the horror of her situation. Or, was it? Elliot had always been surrounded by softness. Just, in secrecy... feeling he'd be judged with what he liked and comforted him. She was safe now, but at what cost? She didn't know what was going to happen next, but for now, she had a family that loved her, a room filled with comfort, and a bed that felt like a cloud. With more than she could ever ask for. Her eyelids grew heavier with each second, and soon, Ellie slipped into a gentle sleep.

Dreams filled her mind, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face, the gentle caress of the wind. She was laughing, smiling, and feeling the joy she hadn't felt in so long. The fear and the anger were gone, replaced by pure happiness and comfort. Snuggling the stuffed duck closer, the blanket tucked by her face and shoulders, warm and comfortable snuggled in her pajamas.
