As they reached the market, Kanak went about buying groceries while Vikram trailed behind her, his eyes fixed on her with a mixture of irritation and concern. But when Kanak suddenly darted across the road, Vikram's world came crashing down. A truck was barreling towards her, and before he could even process what was happening, ...
kanak...Vikram yelled out in horror. With lightning-fast reflexes, he sprinted towards Kanak and yanked her out of the way just in time. The truck screeched to a halt, mere inches from where Kanak had been standing. The impact was minimal, but Kanak was shaken. Vikram's anger turned to concern as he saw her silently sobbing. "Are you freaking blind? Can't you see the truck?"kuch ho jata to ,,,how will i live.. he yelled, but his tone quickly softened as he realized the gravity of the situation, she was shivering and crying ."Kanak, look at me, kuch nhi hua, im here see everything is fine," he whispered, trying to calm her down. "Everything is fine. Tum theek ho." He gently held her shivering hands and guided her home, his expression a mix of relief and worry..
The ride back home was unusually quiet.
Kanak held on tightly to the side bars of the bike, her knuckles pale from the lingering shock. Vikram didn't say a word either. The only sound between them was the low hum of the engine and the occasional honk from passing vehicles.Once they reached the gate, Vikram parked the bike without looking at her. But as she stepped down, her legs faltered. Immediately, his hand reached out instinctively, steadying her. It was a small gesture, but in that moment, it spoke volumes.
They walked inside together, still wrapped in silence, until Kanak finally spoke."Thank you," she murmured, not meeting his eyes.
Vikram scoffed lightly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't make a big deal out of it."
Kanak looked at him, a tired but knowing smile spreading across her face. "You were really worried.
""I wasn't," he replied quickly, too quickly. "You just—look, you don't watch where you're going. That was stupid."
She nodded, still smiling. "But you were still there.
"Vikram met her gaze for a moment, something unreadable flickering in his eyes before he looked away. "Whatever. Just... sit down. I'll get you some water."
Kanak blinked. "You'll *get* me water?""
Don't push it," he grumbled, but he was already heading toward the kitchen.
When he returned, holding out a glass, his hands were still trembling slightly. Kanak noticed, but she didn't say anything.
Instead, she took the glass and sipped slowly, letting the coolness calm her."
You really scared me, you know," he admitted suddenly, his voice lower now, stripped of its usual sharpness. "When I saw that truck—I thought..."He didn't finish the sentence.
"I'm okay," Kanak said softly. "Thanks to you."There was a long pause between them. A fragile stillness
Then Vikram sat down on the opposite couch, his posture tense but his eyes finally softening. "You're still not allowed to walk around like a maniac. You don't have nine lives."
Kanak chuckled, her laughter light, but laced with something deeper. "You care way more than you let on
.""Shut up," Vikram muttered, but a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
as vikram saw the scrathes on her hand and he got up and come with first aid books..
you dont need to , i will do it , kanak whisper as vikram try to clean her hand wounds..
shutup ,let me do it , he glare her..
As Vikram tended to Kanak's wounds, Sagar arrived just in time to learn about the harrowing incident. His face darkened with anger as he turned to Vikram.
"Can't you just take care of her?" Sagar growled, his fist flying into Vikram's face. "What can I expect from a goon like you? People like you don't deserve family." how will you know the vlaue of familyVikram's eyes flashed with anger, and he retaliated with a punch of his own.
The two men clashed, their fists flying as they exchanged blows. The air was thick with tension as the two men fought, their anger and frustration boiling over. Kanak watched in horror, her eyes wide with fear."Sagar, stop! Vikram, stop!" she cried out, but her voice was drowned out by the sound of punches and grunts., she was just trying there best to stop the fight, but were deaf to here her voice..
.The fight continued until both men were exhausted, their anger slowly giving way to ragged breathing and aching muscles. The silence that followed was oppressive, the only sound the heavy breathing of the two men.
