Unconditional Sides of Love [SasuNaru]

"The last incoming call was the day of Naruto's incident... from Sai" Neji spoke in a somewhat soft tone. 

Sasuke sat at the bar for a long moment, in utter silence. His mind was in turmoil. That information was enough to make Sasuke want to throw something, but there was something more weighing on his mind as his emotions boiled. Knowing that Sai was the last phone call that sent Naruto over the edge... what good was this information? What could Sasuke do to that piece of shit when he was in prison? A sudden burst of rage flowed through the Uchiha.

"You told him, didn't you?" Sasuke bit out as he finally released the glass from his death grip. 

Neji stared at the raven, confused with his response. 

"What are you talking about?" Neji questioned, which only set Sasuke off more. 

"You told Naruto everything!  About the money, about the trial, literally everything." Sasuke's voice was almost trembling. 

"So what if I did?" Neji raised his voice back. "He is literally destroying you, Sasuke!" Neji had a sense of concern in his voice. 

"What right do you have?" Sasuke barked out, clearly feeling betrayed by the Hyuga. 

"What right does he have?" Neji countered. He only had his friends best interest at heart, though Sasuke couldn't seem to understand that. 

"What are you-" 

"Everything he is putting you through!" Neji interrupted. 

"Me? What about what he has-" 

"Sasuke, listen to yourself. You are so wrapped up in what is going on with him that you are not even dealing with what is going on with you! You spent all of the money you had on a lawyer, court costs, a private investigator, tried to have the case thrown, which need I remind you, is illegal! Not to mention he ruined your relationship with Karen. Sasuke, he literally drove you out of your own house by trying to kill-" 

"Stop!" Sasuke yelled before Neji could finish that sentence.  It was something Sasuke was trying to bury deep in the recesses of his mind. He never wanted to see that image in his head ever again. 

"Sasuke.." Neji called out gently. "You know I'm right" 

"When" Sasuke asked, bitterness laced in his voice. 

"I called him right before you went up there to see him" Neji admitted. There was no point in lying to Sasuke about it. 

"You" Sasuke stood, facing the Hyuga.  Neji's eyes widened a bit as he noticed a line of water forming in each of Sasuke's eyes. 

"had no right to say anything to him. And then you have the nerve to try to come here to comfort me?" Sasuke scoffed, his voice cracking. 

"You disgust me" Sasuke stormed out of the bar, leaving behind an astounded Hyuga.

"How long do you plan on staying here?" Deidara asked with a whimsical attitude. 

"What's it to you?" Naruto tried to dismiss. The conversation he had with Neji prior to Sasuke's visit was weighing heavy on his mind for the last week. Naruto went a full week and a half without a single visit, letter, or phone call.

"How come Sasuke doesn't come anymore?" 

"What is with the interrogation?" Naruto bit out. 

"Well go fuck yourself then! Die alone for all I care! Stupid moody bitch!" Deidara yelled across the room, eye brows furrowed as if he was ready to go into a rage at any moment.
