The unexpected turn of events...

Alfonso’s sharp instincts had told him something was off as soon as he saw the blacked-out vehicles pull up outside his mansion.

It was just after dusk when the agents arrived at his mansion without a warning.

He was already on edge, with a feeling that the De Luca family had set something in motion.

But nothing could have prepared him for the sudden and brutal reality that followed.

The door to his study burst open and agents stormed in, guns drawn.

His men moved to protect him, but one look from Alfonso silenced them. He wasn’t going to make any impression that he is capable of anything unusual.

Without warning, they grabbed him by the arms, dragging him toward the door. No questions were asked for now, no words were said.

They handcuffed him and he let them.

"Alfonso Rodriguez,"

One of the agents announced coldly,

" You’re under arrest for illegal arms smuggling, organized crime, and money laundering."

Alfonso didn’t resist. He wasn’t stupid. He knew what this was. It was the setup, The De Luca's had set for him this time, trying to push him to the corner.

He’d been framed, but that wasn’t the problem. He knew he'd come out due to no evidence against him or even they find any, he'll be free in no time.

The real problem was Andrea, she was out with her friends.
His wife, she wasn't anywhere near. She was at risk, her safety was at risk. She had gone out earlier that day, but when she'd arrive, he won't be there.

They didn’t care about Andrea yet, but she would be just another pawn in their game. And they will play their worst card.

And it was the only thing on his mind.

The De Luca family’s arms deal went wrong, they got caught but instead of taking the fall, they framed Alfonso, making it look like he was the mastermind behind all the game.

Law enforcement named Alfonso as the leader, putting pressure on his operations and threatening his alliances.

With the enforcers on high alert, Alfonso wasn’t able to  move freely and the underworld starts whispering some doubt his power.

They were trying continuously to find any evidence against Alfonso but he was innocent so they got no clear proof.

Until the De Luca's made their last move.

At the Interrogation Room...

The interrogation room felt cold and suffocating. The harsh lights above him were giving him headache and the silence that stretched on for what seemed like hours.

They wanted answers. He wasn’t giving them anything.

"Where did the weapons come from? "

" Who are you working with?"

The questions kept coming, but Alfonso was silent, his gaze felt blank.

He was quiet because he knew whatever he would say they won't believe it. So, he waited for the right moment to speak.

For now, he was finding a way to clear his name but at that moment it felt so difficult.

He knew his people would take care of everything eventually. So, he stayed quiet for a while and decided to answer later.
