"What's a movie that completely changes its plot if you change one letter in the title?"
Everyone seemed to be thinking hard about this question that Mark asked.
"Harry Potter? Make it Happy Potter" I said and everyone started laughing.
"Yeah...think about that" laughed Mackie. "And Voldemort would be like "AVADA KEDAVRA!!!" and Harry would just sit there with a huge smile on his face, just like-" Mackie imitated a happy Harry Potter holding his wand and smiling for the camera and we all started wheezing with laughter.
"Yeah, but you changed 2 letters in the title" chuckled Evans.
"Nu-uh! I changed the same letter with another one, but twice!" I protested.
"Is that even allowed?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't read the rulebook for this game before we started playing!" I replied sarcastically.
"Wait, I got a good one- Instead of Fight Club, make it Sight Club and have everyone wear glasses" said Downey.
I burst so hard into laughter, I almost spilled coffee all over my suit, which made everyone laugh even harder.
Just when everyone calmed down a little, Joe Russo came into the studio and called us back for filming.
The next scene involved me escaping from the Avengers Tower. The rest of the cast were filming another scene in a separate room, where they were looking over some HYDRA files or something.
I waited for the cameras to start rolling, then the director yelled "ACTION!" and the scene began.
Rebecca was gripping the window with her fingers, her knuckles white. She used her elbow to pop the window out of the frame. It worked, and a smirked appeared on her face. Turns out stealing Nat's tool was worth it after all.
She lifted her leg and stepped onto the windowsill, gripping its sides to secure herself. She hadn't done this in a while, pretty much ever since she got rescued/mostly kidnapped by the Avengers.
She draped her other leg over the side and measured the distance to the ground.
Then she let go.
I landed with a thud on the mattress below.
"CUT! Thank you, that was great!"
I smiled and dusted off my suit. Someone brought me a bottle of water.
We had to go outside for the next scene, were we would film another shot of me jumping out the window. It wasn't a big distance, so it almost didn't even count as a stunt, but the cast still wanted to be there and encourage me. They were so sweet.
The stunt crew checked my harness to make sure it was secured, then they did a couple more safety checks, and only after that was I allowed to get into position and start filming. By now, I was already used to the whole process, but I still had that small knot in my stomach as I remembered my first stunt, when I quite literally almost died. Although it sometimes made me nervous, I still loved doing most of my stunts instead of choosing a stunt double. There was something about that adrenaline rush and sense of accomplishment that made it so addicting.
"AAAAND...ACTION!!"
I let go from the window and landed nicely onto the ground. Even though it was only like, 3 meters high, they still had to put me into a harness.
"CUT!"
The cast cheered and clapped as if I had done something really amazing. They did that for each one of stunts, big or small.
