A/N: Now hold up-don't just scroll past this chapter thinking, "Oh, it's just another Author's Note." Because nope, this one's special. I'm actually here to talk about the reason I wrote this chapter in the first place, and trust me, it's more than just a random update.

It's your Author, OtakuFanatic19, back in action after what feels like forever - 2 week's break! I know it's been not a long break.

But hey, I gotta be honest with you guys - it still feels kinda surreal that I've taken a wholesome high school rom-com like The Quintessential Quintuplets and flipped it into something way more intense... yeah, I'm talking about gang wars, drama, and underground chaos. I get it - it might sound a little weird, maybe even corny to some, but that was kind of the point.

There are tons of amazing fanfics out there that stick to the sweet, fluffy rom-com vibe we all know and love from the original series. But I wanted to try something different. Something bold. Something that would stand out. So I asked myself:
What if the Nakano sisters weren't just battling over the MC heart... but also caught up in a world of danger, power struggles, and hidden pasts?

A/N: I've also come to realize during my break that up until now-at the end of Season 1-Itsuki hasn't really had much time with Y/N. Looking back, I suppose that's not too surprising, considering she didn't get much screentime in the original anime either. But that's about to change. In Season 2, I'll be giving Itsuki the attention she truly deserves. Expect more interactions, deeper development, and moments that will finally let her shine in ways the anime and manga never quite managed.

A/N: And not gonna lie... when I first started reading fanfics-especially TQQ ones-I used to get so frustrated with authors who'd leave their stories incomplete. Like, bro, it's right there, so close to the end, why stop now? I've read a ton of TQQ fanfics at this point, and out of all of them, only about 3 or 4 were actually finished. That always stuck with me, and I told myself, "When I start writing my own story, I'll finish it no matter what."

But now that I'm on the other side-as a fanfic author myself-I finally get it. Life happens. Burnout is real. Sometimes motivation just disappears, or writer's block hits out of nowhere. Still, even with that said, I promise you all: I'm not giving up on this story. No matter how tough it gets, I will see it through to the end.

A/N: So, just being real with you all-I had a bit of writer's block while working on this story. It wasn't anything too major, but it did last about two weeks, and during that time, I decided to put this story on a short hiatus. Instead, I started another project called "Quintessential Sinnoh Journey." Honestly, I'm pretty excited about that one too, and as much as I'd love to dive headfirst into finishing it, I knew I had to come back here. This story is so close to reaching its conclusion, and I didn't want to leave it hanging when it's just a few steps away from the end. So yeah, I'm back-and we're going to push through to the finish line together.

A/N: Also, I noticed something interesting-a lot of people seem to have skipped Chapter 29: "Moment of Revelation." And I get it, Chapter 30, "Battle Between Sisters," was action-packed and intense. I had a blast writing that one-it might actually be my favorite chapter so far. But Chapter 29 was really important too, you know? That chapter revealed the main reason why the Emerden were targeting the group, and hinted at some deeper connections between them and Y/N. Sure, not everything was revealed-many of those secrets are going to be unraveled in Season 2-but Chapter 29 set the foundation for all that.

So if you skipped it, I'd recommend going back to give it a read-it's short but pretty important lore-wise. That said, I'm still grateful and happy that this story is getting the love and reads it has. Honestly, thank you so much for sticking with it-it means the world to me. And hey, it's not like Chapter 29 was written that well anyway, but still!
