"Oh, Shadow Milk, no cookie should ever good through any of your suffering. Your life has been sadder than all of others as your entirety has been more of a burden than blessing. To wish for someone to understand is more than expectable to believe in, even if your ways with Ruthless Recluse were not successful.
You had not experienced true affection so you had no way of proper experience, and yes, you did know that you were causing me pain, but only for you to have someone go through the same things to have someone to relate to.
Life is everywhere, but not all beings wish to be with what they were given and some wish to change completely. You are a cookie of endless knowledge from your era, and probably will decipher all of the rest before even I can.
Nothing is without sacrifice, but all that comes from a story is an end.
Good or bad is bliss.
And I hope that if you stay I can try and leave you with a happily ever on."
A calm smile was flowing as Pure Vanilla brushed the soft deep ocean blue hair of the beast- no cookie under him with ever so much care. It felt like the cookie under him had finally began to calm down and was drifting off to sleep once again after such an emotional moment.
"So, Shadow Milk Cookie.
Shall you stay within the kingdom's protecting walls?"
But the other had already fallen under the spell of sleep which he had avoided for so many years. Pure Vanilla let out a small sigh as he would have to wait for his answer, but he didn't mind as he will wait for however long it takes. Still stroking through the silky locks he could easily tell it was well taken care of as he can also recall the many, many hours would spend on dough care and such as face masks and moisturizer.
Pure Vanilla was a stranger to it all and when taken on tour once curiosity took the better of him and had walked into Shadow Milk's chambers when he was busy with dealing with the multiple rumors Black Sapphire spread and watch over the development of Candy Apple's disguises.
Once he opened the door he was flashed with a large vanity and framed mirror, on the extremely organized shelves ,which was a large contrast to the rest of the spire, was container after container of different dreams for perfect dough. It was obvious now why Shadow Milk would never have any lumps in his dough, he had so long to find the perfect products that he has concocted the best dough care probably of all cookie kind.
*That must be why he also takes so long showers, it sometimes would have gone over an hour of the sight of the water twisting up the spiral like magic. I was always so curious of where it would go but after some snooping it was obvious, even if he doesn't have a good eating sensual at least he takes extremely good care of his dough and other areas probably.
I never really saw the point of it all and thought it was a waste of time, but now seeing the results it maybe isn't too much of a waste after all.
Maybe one day Shadow Milk could show, or better do, how to do proper hair care because sadly it takes way too long to untangle in the morning. And calling my poor show of 'untangling' maybe he could show me how to prevent it getting so tangled.
He also had a lot of makeup that looked more than obsessive, there was this one metal contraption that I had seen next to something called 'mascara' from the labeled draws that I think from the elegant handwriting was Shadow Milk himself. It looked like a torture device and if anything would probably take your eyelashes then do whatever it is used for.
It must be true what people say.
Beauty is pain.*
A sudden movement under him woke Pure Vanilla from his thoughts and concluded he would just ask Shadow Milk if he got the chance. Big beautiful blue eyes scattered over the room before locking directly on Pure Vanilla who only had enough in him not to just hug then and there. A sweet smile played across his lips while Shadow Milk was left only giving an unreadable look as he was replaying the events that had happened in his busy head.
Once finally aware of what had happened, he jumped up and scramble to get out of the now soft touch of the other's hug. It wasn't a forceful touch unlike before and unlike like time Shadow Milk was not really putting up a fight either as he didn't have the energy and the difference to all that he has ever felt. It was a warm embrace, nothing than pure warmth that was a blanket against his icy blue dough. Both is the temperature and color as a rather interesting coincidence.
"How are you feeling?" Another question to put through the scramble of a brain at the moment.
"Better than before. But you silly cookie would you let me go? This instant." A masked cheerful tone was sickly sweet to enfaces his sarcasm and boldness to let go of him before he might begin to bite.
"Only if you promise to stay at least long enough to answer some of my questions." Still soft bit with now a back bone to confirm without any type of compromise.
"You think the cookie of decide will answer truthfully and even stay in the room if you let me free, hah you have high expectations." bitter as planned but also edging to see what the other will do when challenged.
"I only can hope you will answer with truth but if not then there is nothing I can do but if you try to escape I shall just use the light barrier around the kingdom to keep you here until you answer the question I already asked you."
"And what was that?"
"Now you will have to stay to find out."
