"You sure this is your first time teaching kids, (Name)?" The teacher humoured, handing the paper filled with feedbacks and more to the student who chuckled.

"Well, I taught kids at the orphanage this summer, miss Mendeleiv.. If that counts?"

"Any form of teaching counts, (Last name). A little improvement and you've filled the satisfactory." The teacher gave her a nod before she exited the doors, then returning to the laptop on her desk.

"Miss (Last name)!" A distant voice called, foot steps getting louder through the empty hallways. The sun was down, clock nearly striking the number seven.

"Adrien? My, it's late! Why are you here still?" She cocked her head to the side, a concerned look adorned her face.

"I have fencing practice, miss." His smile is as sweet as ever, green eyes closed but feelings were never present-only a hollow mask she learned to see through.

"Is that so? Isn't it a bit late now?" She hovered over the wall to look at the fencing teacher who's packing his equipments back to his bag.

"Yeah, we just finished." They walked down from the second floor uptil the gates of the school, street lights turned on and there it was, Adrien's car just a few feet away. Waiting.

"I'll take you home, Miss. Is that okay?" Adrien asked, hinting that she too should hop on the car with him to escort her back to her humble abode.

"Oh- uhm.." She was unsure, hesitant with such suggestion.

"It's pretty late now, so.. There might be some danger lurking y'know?" He excused, what his intentions were, she'd never know. Maybe it was just politeness and being a gentleman, or there must be a hidden intent with his offer.

"Hmm as long as it won't trouble you."

"Promise, you're more than welcome to!" He was glad she accepted, getting inside the car after her.

The drive wasn't as chatty, but Adrien talked to her about his concerns and questions regarding her subject, and expressed his curiosity and interest.

The blob of black snuck through the white bag besides Adrien that connected him and his senior, his eyes looking above the distracted woman as his nose picked up the faintest smell of cheese.

Cheese! He thought. It wasn't Camembert, not the most ideal. But a hungry stomach can't deny anything, right? He hasn't been fed since this morning, with Adrien being booked front to back today and the smell of cheese hit him like a hungry wolf.

And so, he snuck and ate the cheese hidden deep within the girl's bag, the smallest piece is what he craves for. It didn't satisfy, but it was enough for him.

A bump on the road as he exited the plastic, causing him to collide with the shirt of the woman, into the skin of her stomach.

And so, a blur of light flashes, enough for Plagg to get dizzy and flinch.

Oh. Her. The Guardian of the holders.

----

"Plagg, where are you going?" It was late at night, the monitor screens illuminating Adrien's face with Ladybug's figure plastered across.

Plagg wasn't so sneaky this time, being caught almost out the window. He wanted to go somewhere, his business wasn't done with the knowledge he gained just earlier and Adrien didn't need to know such.

"Uhh.. I.. have kwami business, Adrien!" He excused, it wasn't a lie either way. He believes he's telling the truth, hiding a few details.

"But what if hawkmoth acts up and I need you?" Concerned the holder, he didn't mind about his kwami going some place for the sake of the world, but he worries of what might come when he's not beside him.
