Asha flopped on Minji's bed, head hanging off the edge like a bored cat. She stared at her upside-down best friend, who was currently scribbling something way too furiously in her journal.
"You're obsessed, Minji," Asha said flatly.
Minji whipped her head up. "No I'm not!" she pouted, clutching the journal to her chest like it was the Holy Grail.
"You don't even know if I even like him," she added, rolling her eyes for dramatic effect.
Asha sat up, eyebrow cocked. "You wrote a whole journal and a three-hour read book about his laugh, Minji."
"So?" Minji muttered, nose wrinkling.
"So? What do you mean by so?" Asha threw her hands up. "Nobody normal would do that. Of course."
Minji blinked. "I... I have a journal for everybody's laughs. Yeah." She nodded, nervous chuckle bubbling up.
"Oh yeah? So sure, are you?" Asha leaned in, arms crossed. "Well, tell me about mine, now won't you?"
Minji froze.
Then slowly said, "...Oh..? Huh, well... It's like a dying walrus screaming while it's pooping in the forest with a giant watermelon coming out of his peeing hole..."
A beat of silence.
Asha blinked. "What the f—"
"OMG YOU'RE CRAZY GOODBYE," Asha wheezed, falling back onto the bed in a fit of laughter.
Minji just grinned smugly and opened her journal again. "That's going in the next entry."

i made this a very quick thing since i am packed with school 😭😭it is a bonus to just thrive on while i try to do school and make new chapters.
