(3RD POV)
Steven was preparing himself for bed by brushing his teeth, cleaning his face, ears and last but not least, his gemstone as it was now sparkling clean.
Steven: Good night, Basalt.
He told the Gem, who was laying in the bathtub, snuggled up in a sleeping bag as he looked at Steven.
Basalt: Good night, Steven. Have normal dreams.
Steven then went to his own room, crawling under his blanket, getting real nice and comfy as he said good night to the objects in his room.
Steven: Good night, Happy Bear. Good night, Sad Bunny. Good night, Playful Kitty. Good night, Ominous Triangle at the foot of my bed......wait what?
He takes another glance at the foot of his bed but sees no ominous triangle as he just shrugs it off and goes to sleep.
But when he closed his eyes, a hand closed over his mouth, preventing Steven from screaming as he tried to struggle against it.
Steven and his captor, who was none other than Peridot, warpped the two of them to the Galaxy Warp as she was struggling to carry Steven's fatass.
Steven: Let me go!
Peridot: Enough of this!
She dropped him to the ground and instead used her tractor beam to lift him up as she took Steven over to the broken warp pad that could take someone to Homeworld.
Steven: What do you want from me!?
Peridot: I want to get off this lousy Gem-forsaken planet!
She turned off the tractor beam, letting Steven fall to the ground as she used her floating fingers to make arrows that pointed at the warp pad.
Peridot: You have to fix this!
Steven(surprised): Wait what!?
Peridot: You're my last chance. I've got no Flask Robonoids. I've got no foot! I've got no response from Yellow Diamond!!! I know you fixed Lazuli's gem. Whatever you did, you've got to do it to the Homeworld Warp! Or else!
She threatened Steven by aiming her blaster at him, charging up an energy blast which scared Steven into listening to her demand.
Steven(nervous): O-okay, just give me a second. My mouth gets really dry when I'm scared.
He licked the palm of his hand before slapping it on the warp pad, making Peridot look around in confusion as nothing happened.
Peridot: What was that!? It didn't do anything!
Steven: It......doesn't always work.
Peridot: No.......no no no no no! It has to work!
Steven: I'm really sorry.
Peridot just started laughing as she felt like all hope was lost. She fell to the ground and curled up, knees to her face as she just......gave up.
