Tinkerbell's days usually consist of repairs and hanging out with her friends and sister. But whenever she has time, she always goes to the beach to look for lost things. On this day, she was lucky to receive a find of many lost things. As she was loading the lost things into a cart pulled by Cheese, she was suddenly inturrupted by a splash of water hitting her wings.
"Hey," she called out, but as she turned she was suprised to see a human coming out of the water.
"Woah sorry, there tiny," The boy replied. "I didn't see you there."
"My name is not tiny," Tink claimed. breifly forgetting how humans can't understand what she is saying. "It's Tinkerbell."
"Tinkerbell, got it," the boy replied. This shocked Tink as normally humans couldn't understand them. At least according to Lizzie, she only hear jingle bells when she speaks to humans.
"You understand me?" Tink couldn't help but ask aloud.
"You're speaking in plain english how could I not?" the boy stated. "So what are you doing with all this stuff?" he asked as he noticed the small cart.
"I'm taking them back to my home," Tink answered. "We can use this stuff at the workshop."
"But it's junk," the boy claimed.
"That's what Fairy Mary said," Tink reminised. "But she came around."
"There's more of you?" the boy asked.
"Yes," Tink answered. "So how are you here?"
"I just wanted to get away and this place seems nice," the boy answered.
"Like a vacation," Tink tried to make the connection.
"Exactly," the boy confirmed. "Unfortunately this pirate in a red coat kept saying I should go back home and stay out of the way."
"I've dealt with him before," Tink confessed. "He hurt one of my friends, but we taught him a lesson."
This confession caused the boy to laugh. "Wait is that why I heard him yelling about some fairies chasing him off with a crocodile?"
"Yeah that might have been a bit too far," Tink answered looking back.
"Are you kidding that is hilarious," the boy argued. "Bet he hasn't messed with you since huh?"
"Not really," Tink admitted.
"Then there you go," the boy claimed. "Suprised you didn't let the croc eat him."
Feeling unsettled by the boy's comments, Tink went back to her cart only to be stopped by the boy. "Here let me help you finish loading this stuff." He then picked up the rest of the lost things Tink was trying to load into the cart. "You come by this beach often?"
"Sometimes," Tink answered, while tying things up.
"Maybe I'll see you next time I'm in the area," the boy responded. "I think we're gonna be great friends."
"Yeah," Tink responded nervously. "Thanks for the help."
With that, Tink flew into the air, with Cheese following quickly with the cart. Once out of sight from the boy, Tinkerbell reunited with Cheese.
"I'm sorry Cheese," she apologized. "It's just, the way he was talking about the crocodile eating that pirate, just seemed wrong." The mouse than looked at her concerned. "Do you think we went to far on that guy with the crocodile? I mean we were trying to save Zarina, but at the same time it really seemed to mess him up." The mouse than stopped the cart to lean closer to her to provide comfort. Watching Cheese try to cheer her up, while still tied to the cart, seemed to cheer her up and caused her to laugh.
"Thanks Cheese," Tink replied. While she was in a better mood, she felt like she needed to talk to someone. "Maybe I should talk to Terence or Vidia," she voiced aloud. Cheese then looked at her in suprise. "Well Terence usually knows how to cheer me up, and I know Vidia will be honest with me no matter what," she defended. Cheese then turned back to face their path to head back to Pixie Hollow unaware of the boy's plotting.
