Chapter 4, Episode 8: An Inherited Dream

Rin: (notices Sensei) Sensei! You're awake.

Sensei:

- "Good morning, Rin."

- "This person next to you..."

Rin: Oh. Yes, it is as you suspected. This is Phrenapates. Or better yet, you from another world.

Phrenapates: (silent expression) ...

Rin: I was asked to wait here and look after them until you came. Pseudos... did they tell you what to do?

Sensei:

- "I know."

- Approach Phrenapates.

Sensei:

- Place the Shittim Chest in Phrenapates lap.

- Put their hand over the tablet.

[Sensei gives the Shittim Chest to Phrenapates for safeguarding. Once they finished, they see Pseudos's PDA in Phrenapates's other hand...]

Rin: All set? This way, he's waiting.

[Sensei follows behind Rin and leaves Phrenapates alone. They could hear a whisper from Phrenapates and the sound of the Shittim Chest unlocking. After Phrenapates was out of sight, Rin starts to converse with Sensei...]

Rin: Pseudos is unpredictable. One moment he was prepared to destroy the city, the next he joins forces with you and stops it. Now, he's ordered the full repair of the Ark of Atrahasis. ...I'll admit. Without him or the mysterious class he commands, things would have ended differently, or worse. The students believe in their Liberators, and in return they fought for the students.

Sensei:

- "The 1st Class..."

- "They really knew how to handle things."

Rin: I don't have any suspicions of them. As for their "Father" however... What I'm trying to say, Pseudos is formidable yet fearsome. Do not trust a word he says, no matter what.

Sensei:

- "Thanks for the heads up."

- "I won't let him do anything that'd upset the students."

Rin: There's so much we don't know about them or the world of today. So much has changed. The best we can do now is try to keep up.

[Rin stops at a corridor entrance and steps aside for Sensei...]

Rin: He's through here. Good luck. (steps away)

[Sensei enters the main control room where they see Pseudos standing by himself at the Ark's window, watching the city below. He has changed his appearance from his shirtless Caesar outfit to a more modern look. A single gray buttoned shirt, long black pants, black dress shoes, and a red belt that complements their young adult body. Sensei notices Pseudos holding something with his dominant hand. Pseudos is doing tricks with their black stylus pen, swinging it around and moving it between his fingers to pass the time...]
