I did what I was told to do and stared at him in the eyes, even though my wolf tried but failed to make it so that I couldn't look him in the eyes. I didn't say a word while I waited for my godfather to do something to help me relax my grip from my mother's back and release it.

Aenes walked closer to me and pressed his fingers on my forehead, and I bit back a small gasp while I stared at him in the eyes, not able to blink, even though a part of me wanted to. His fingers were warm against my head, and a small spark appeared between us as soon as he pressed his fingers against my head.

My wolf stopped trying to fight me for control and growled while he slowly started to drift off to sleep, and my whole body started to shut down as well, no matter how much I tried to get it to stop.

"What did you do to me, Aenes?" I asked, my speech slurred while I tried but failed to stay awake while my whole body grew relaxed. "What did you do to my wolf?"

My grip on my mother's back grew relaxed, and my claws turned back to fingers, with my mother breathing a small sigh of relief because I didn't keep digging my claws into her back like I had in the past.

"I made sure that you both would get some more rest, Young Alpha," Aenes said while my mother gently placed me back on the bed I had been in before all of this. "Get some more sleep and stop fighting the spell. You will need to shift when you wake up tomorrow, but he will not try to take control of you while you do so. Ok?"

I nodded and closed my eyes while I let my whole body shut down with my vision turning black, and I couldn't help but breathe a small sigh of relief because I knew that I was not a threat to them any longer.

Oh, thank Goddess...

I breathed a small sigh of relief and reached to touch my shoulder but stopped before I could do it. "What happened to him, Aenes?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question while I studied him, pressing my lips into a thin line. "Why was he trying to shift into his wolf form?"

Aenes bit back a tired sigh and shook his head. "I do not know," he admitted before he cleared his throat while he shifted on his feet. "I wish I did, but I do not know, Luna." He looked around before he looked at me, biting back a small frown while he bowed his head in respect. "Do you think that you will be able to contact Adamma?" he asked and studied me with a raised eyebrow in question. "You might want to talk to her in the other office and see if she will know anything that happened to him." He gestured toward my son when he said that, and I looked at my son before I looked at him.

I pressed my lips into a thin line and slowly nodded, knowing that might be the best thing for me to do, especially since she might have seen something before this. "I need to take care of my shoulder first, but after that, I will contact her." I paused and shifted on my feet, hesitating ever so slightly. "Do you want to come with me and we can talk about everything then, or are you wanting to stay here with my son?"

Conflict flashed through Aenes's eyes, and I could tell that he wanted to stay with my son but didn't know if I would need him to be there with us so that he would be able to say something that he might have caught going on with TJ while he did that spell.

I bit back a small smile and shook my head, amused. "Would there be a way that we can talk in the room with him a little while later without anyone else knowing what we have to say?" I asked and cocked my head to the side while I studied him. "I believe that it would be best if Addamma and I had a small conversation in private before we all talked with each other here."

Relief flashed through Aenes's eyes, and he nodded while he breathed a small sigh of relief. "That would be wonderful, thank you, White Wolf," he said and bowed before he stood. He cleared his throat and gestured toward my shoulder. "Would you like me to help you with your shoulder? I do not mind healing it for you."

I bit back a small smile before I shook my head no. "I will need to heal it on my own or with a pack doctor's help, especially since I am pregnant. Thank you, though, Aenes," I said before I licked my lips. "I do appreciate it."

"Of course, White Wolf," he said and gestured toward the chair that was beside my son's bed. "Do you mind if I sit beside your son?" he asked and cocked his head to the side while he studied me. "Or would you have me sit somewhere else?"

"You can sit beside him," I said and shook my head. "If you are able to help him while you are with him to make sure that nothing happens, then I would appreciate it. If not, then do not worry about it. We will be back in a bit, so all you have to do is wait for us. If you have to leave before we are finished talking, then go ahead and leave."

Aenes shook his head and set his jaw, pressing his lips into a thin line. "I will not leave until we have talked, and he is not alone while he sleeps," he said and shifted on his feet. He started to walk to the chair that he had resided in while I had taken care of my son and placed his boxers and pants onto his body.

"So do you think we should stay with him for the time being after all of this?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question while I studied him. "Or do you think that we should be fine with leaving him alone?"

"For this weekend, I would suggest we stay close to him, White Wolf," he said and shook his head. "Other than that, you should be fine to leave him alone." He leaned back in his chair and bit back a tired sigh. "I will make sure that both are safe until they are able to know each other again."

I breathed a small sigh of relief and slowly nodded while my whole body relaxed. "Thank you, Aenes," I said. "Excuse me, and I will take my leave so that I can get my shoulder healed and then talk to Addama. I will contact you when I am on my way back up to my son's room. If you need anything before then, let me know and I will cut the meeting short."

Aenes nodded and pressed his lips into a thinner line. "I will. Thank you, Sam."

"Of course." I walked over to my son and moved a hand through his hair before I pressed a small kiss to his forehead, and he turned to face me, biting back a small whine in apology. "I love you, T," I said, my voice barely above a whisper before I pressed another kiss to his forehead. "I will see you in a bit."

And with that, I walked away to the clinic to get my shoulder checked out before I went to my office where I knew Addamma would be, waiting for me to ask her my questions about my son and what had happened to him.

Oh, Goddess keep my son safe and alive while I take care of this, please...
