Third point of view.

The salty breeze whipped against your face as you stood at the edge of the ship, eyes locked onto the distant silhouette of Jeju Island. The sky above sunny and clear, the ocean beneath restless with the movement of countless vessels cutting through its waves.

Around you, other ships sailed in formation, each one carrying hunters prepared for the battle ahead.

You exhaled slowly, gripping the railing as the island loomed closer. From a distance, it looked almost peaceful, its lush greenery untouched by the chaos lurking within. But you knew better. The moment you stepped onto that shore, there would be no peace.

"Y/N!"

You turned at the sound of Ha-neul's voice, watching as she made her way toward you, carefully navigating the deck. When she reached you, she held out a small earpiece.

"This will keep you connected with all the Japanese hunters." She said, her voice steady despite the weight of the situation. "It will also translate their words to you and vice versa."

You took it from her hand, adjusting it in your ear before tapping it to activate the connection. A brief static buzzed before clearing.

"All hunters. Do you copy?" You called out.

A moment passed before replies began filtering in.

"Alpha here, copy."

"Team Delta here. Loud and clear."

"Bravo checking in. Connection is stable."

Satisfied, you gave Ha-neul a nod before turning your gaze back to the island.

Moments later, the signal came in, a sharp hand gesture from one of the Japanese Hunters on board. Without hesitation, you leapt, the wind slicing past your ears as you descended, landing hard on the forested outskirts of the island.

You pushed forward, weaving through the dense foliage with silent steps. A short trek brought you to a clearing, your designated point.

You exhaled slowly, fingers tightening around your weapon. The sound of rustling leaves and distant waves faded beneath the quiet crackle in your earpiece.

"Team Alpha here," Goto Ryuji's voice rang out, firm and commanding. "All hunters, sound off."

One by one, the teams responded.

"Bravo, in position."

"Delta, ready for action."

You pressed a finger against your earpiece. "In position."

Silence stretched for a brief moment before Goto commanded. "All my hunters." Goto commanded, voice even. "Release your strength."

A chorus of confirmations followed, a unified "Roger!" ringing through the comms.

Then, like a ripple turning into a wave, mana erupted across the island. The weight of countless auras surged into the air, crashing together like an invisible storm.

You exhaled, letting your own mana rise, choosing not to unleash its full force, keeping it controlled and measured.

Too much, and it might work against you.

So, Instead, you matched the levels among them, balancing your presence within the flood of power.

Almost immediately, the ground trembled as a wave of movement surged from the massive hill ahead. The air buzzed with a sharp, eerie sound and the fluttering of countless wings.

Then, they came.

Ants.

In numbers they poured out, their forms spilling into the sky, drawn toward the flood of mana released across the island.
