The Mistake ?

CBSE results were also out this week. And I know you all did great. Even if you didn't. I can tell you by experience that they are just numbers. The world ahead of you is too big and full of opportunities. A mark sheet doesn't define your future.

But that also doesn't mean you stop working hard.

And no targets. Not only do you not complete them, but around four or five chapters are remaining.

" Why don't you let Ravi tag along. " I ask Aarna walking inside her Mansion.

" Trust me I don't have a problem. Madhav has appointed him, and he is a good guy, but not everything is in my control. He'll have my head on a platter or maybe ground me like a ten-year-old child if I mess with things. Security is the most important. " She says, waving her hand and making faces.

" Got it," I say. My stomach rumbles. Madhav insisted on having breakfast and even packed it for me. But I didn't have time after I reached the office.

" You are hungry. " She States.

" Starving. " I say.

" I was waiting for you for lunch. I can't believe I have you all to myself without your clingy husband hovering over you. " I laugh at her words.

But she is right. We haven't spent a day without each other. Wherever we are going, whether it's a party family gathering, or even work, we are together.

" I have asked the chef to make everything you like." She adds.

We both eat our lunch taking over everything and nothing. But with every bite I take my stomach rumbles differently.

I feel nauseous. The food is delicious, and there is nothing that should have me feel like this.

I stop eating when Aarna leaves to instruct her staff to make ice cream from the machine. And I couldn't take anymore.

I rush towards the nearest washroom throwing up everything I ate. It felt like all my organs would come out with the vomit. Thank fuck my hair is tied because now I don't have the energy to even stand straight.

" Are you alright? Oh, God." I hear her exclaim.

As soon as I stand straight and raise my neck to look at her everything starts revolving around me. I feel too dizzy all of a sudden.
