Flashbacks

"Mommy, what are you signing?" I asked, rubbing my eyes as I walked down the stairs. She looked over at me, surprised, then put a quick smile on her face.

"Just an agreement. That way if anything bad happens, I know you'll be ok." She said, and she put the papers away quickly, putting them into an envelope. "What are you doing up at this time?"

"I got thirsty." I said. "Can I have some water?"

"Of course, sweetie." She said, as she walked over to the kitchen.

"It was once said that the two sons of Kaguya Otsutsuki and one was attached to a girl. She was said to love the stars, and was extremely pretty." Mother said. I nodded my head, showing I was listening. "But she was killed by her lover, but it is said that she reincarnated into every generation. Every couple of generations, she will be reincarnated, and try to stop the two, but fall into darkness herself, disappearing upon a dark path."

"Wow." I said. "She liked the stars. Just like us."

"Yep!" My mother said, "Now, your Dad is coming home tomorrow, and I also have a letter I have to send tomorrow, so we'll both be busy. Miss Kanna is also busy, so you'll also stay home alone for a bit. Go get some sleep."

"Daddy!" I shouted, as I jumped into my father's arms. I gave him a big hug, and he gave me a hug as well.

"How's my little Miyako doing?" He said cheerfully, putting a smile on his face. "Were's mommy at?"

"She went to the post office. She said she was doing something to keep me safe." I said. His eyes darkened for a moment, but lit up quickly.

"Alright. I'll make us dinner." He said, walking towards the kitchen. It looked like he had something on his mind.

I didn't care about that though. I got to see Miss Kanna again tomorrow, and I wanted to show her my drawing.

"Mommy..?" I shouted, running around the house, looking around. "Daddy..? Were are you?" I ran around, trying to find them. Then I saw Miss Kanna.

"Oh! Here you are." She said, a smile on her face.

"Miss Kanna, do you know where Mommy and Daddy are?" I asked. She looked at me, and nodded.

"Yeah. Follow me." She said, a smile on her face. I followed her out the front door.

We walked down the street, and Miss Kanna started to laugh about something. When I asked her what she was laughing about, she only said that I would know soon. We walked to the town square of Kirigakure, the centre of the entire village.

And saw my parents being hanged.

*Snap.*

"Ha ha ha! Finally, that woman was hanged! You know, little Miyako, I wanted your mother's job, the job of manager at the Ryouko hospital, but she ran it. Now, I have it to myself!" Miss Kanna said, laughing. She smiled at me menacingly. "Do you know how I turned her in? With her clan name. Hah! She's a Yuki, and so are you! I'll get you killed sooner or later, don't worry." She continued laughing.

I just turned my head to see my parent's dead bodies, and didn't look away.

Miyako's POV

I opened my eyes, and found myself in a hospital bed. I rubbed my eyes. What had happened? I don't remember.
