Jungkook chuckled gently, holding Taehyung’s hand. “I won’t change. I’ll always be your baby bunny… no matter what happens.”

Then the final boarding call echoed through the airport. 2 heart ached. Taehyung pulled him into a hug.

Jungkook buried his face in the crook of his neck and sniffled. They stayed like that for a few seconds, time slowing down just for them.

...

Then Jungkook quickly hugged each child again, shared one last smile with Jin, Namjoon, Hobi, and Jaewook… and turned back to Taehyung.

“When I come back,” he said in a low voice, “I want to be in your arms. Forever.”

Taehyung hit his arm lightly, blushing. “Yah… how can you say such things here, in front of everyone?”

Jungkook smirked. “I want it. I get it.”

“We’ll see… what the future holds,” Taehyung whispered.

“I don’t know what it holds,” Jungkook replied with a tearful smile, “but I’ll hold my universe one day. Just wait and watch.”

“First, wipe your nose,” Taehyung teased gently once again.

“You’re so mean,” Jungkook whined.

Taehyung giggled. Everyone chuckled softly around them.

They didn't listen their conversation except last one. The teasing to each other.

With that, Jungkook turned toward the departure gate. He looked back one last time, at his universe.

Taehyung waved with a soft smile, eyes full but dry. Nose red because of sadness.

Jungkook whispered, “Wait for me,” and disappeared into the crowd.

And Taehyung whispered back, “I will.”

After seeing Jungkook off, they all walked out of the airport together.

Their hearts were heavy.
No one spoke for a while.

Then Taehyung broke the silence quietly, “Jaewook, Hobi hyung… I’ll stay at my house from now on. I’ve already settled everything there.”
They all stopped and turned to him.

“Are you sure?” Hobi asked, concern lacing his voice. “You haven’t stayed alone in all these years.”

“Yeah,” Jaewook added softly. “You can stay wherever you want, Tae. But… I’d suggest staying with us or Jin hyung or you’ll feel lonely. Sad maybe. You’re so used to Jungkook’s presence.”

Taehyung opened his mouth, but before he could answer, Jin spoke quietly, “Let him be alone for some time. He needs to adapt to this habit.”

They all looked at Jin, surprised by the bluntness of his tone. “Forever,” Jin added, eyes fixed on Taehyung.

Taehyung looked down.

“Jin… what’s that supposed to mean?” Namjoon said, voice tight with disapproval.

“You heard me,” Jin replied shortly before getting into the car.

The others stood stunned.

“Don’t mind him,” Namjoon mumbled quickly, sending an apologetic look toward Taehyung.

Taehyung shook his head and gave a soft smile. “I will never mind.”
