Taehyung entered his small, cozy, and pretty house. It's the first time he would stay here... and all alone.
He stepped inside slowly, doe eyes scanning the quiet space. It smelled new, like fresh wood and soft lavender from the candle he lit earlier.
He placed the box gently on the glass table in the living room, then sank into the couch with a tired sigh.
His eyes stared at the ceiling blankly, and without realizing, warm tears slipped from both corners of his eyes.
The soft sound of sniffles echoed through the empty house. It grew a little louder, then sobs turned into hiccups. The silence only made it worse.
Then suddenly... a sound.
He stiffened when he heard a soft shuffle. His doe teary eyes shifted toward the box on the table, it had moved.
Taehyung furrowed his brows, wiping his tears quickly. "What the...?"
The box moved again. He opened it hesitantly, hands trembling slightly.
And then, he gasped and stumbled back when he saw something little things moving inside the box.
"Jeon Jungkook, don't say you gifted me a mouse to punish me because I sent you away!" Taehyung yelled, backing up and maintaining a safe distance from the box.
"This bunny will never stop messing with me!" he whined, eyes wide as he stared at the still moving box.
He let out a squeak when it shifted again. "Ah Jungkookah! Help me!"
The box is opening more now. Whatever was inside, it's coming out.
"The mouse will come out, what do I do, now? What do I do?" he started chanting in panic, doe eyes darting around.
"Jungkookah, I swear this time I'll beat you," he sobbed, whining too as his heart pounded with the fear and confusion.
But then...
The box moved again.
And a little head peeked out.
Taehyung froze.
He tilted his head slightly, eyes blinking as he tried to figure out what he's seeing.
Then he gasped softly, amusement and surprise dancing in his pretty yet teary doe eyes.
