Jungkook shook his head, sighing deeply as he stood in the middle of the living room.

From the hallway, he could hear the short man still complaining loudly to someone.

His dark eyes softened as he looked around. Everything felt the same… warm, peaceful.

He reached up, slowly removed his mask, and for the first time in years, a genuine smile stretched across his once blank face.

Just being here… it already healed a part of him.

“First calm down and let me see, Jimin. I'm not understanding a thing.”

Jungkook’s breath hitched. That cute voice. That soft, melodic voices he’d been craving to hear.

His eyes instantly turned glossy, heart pounding in his chest like a drum.

“Noooo! Don’t go! What if he did something to you?! Let’s call the cops first!” Jimin cried out, while holding tightly onto Taehyung’s arm with his both hands.
