A Visit That Changed It All (Jake Paul)

I finished talking to Nick and went inside. We decided to go out to dinner soon to have a proper catch up.

I went inside to find Jake sulking.

"Whats wrong?" I asked going up to him.

"Nothing" he said giving me a sad smile.

"Okay well I'm gonna go upstair and tell everyone that breakfast is ready alright?"

"Okay."

I had no clue what was going on so I just waved it off in my head. I went upstair waking up my mom, Xavier, and Logan.

We ate and Jake was very quite unless someone talked to him directly. At one point everyone looked at me as if asking me whats wrong and I just shrugged not knowing the answer.

It was after breakfast and I was in my room with Jake.

"So is there anything you want to do?" I asked.

He just shrugged.

"Whats wrong Jake?" I asked.

"Nothing" he said not even looking at me but at him phone.

"Okay" I said getting up and grabbing my laptop hoping to find something to do.

Nick texted me and asked me if I was free tonight and with the way Jake was being, I was. So I told him that. He asked to meet him at a near by diner at six tonight.

Five thirty quickly rolled around with Jake not saying anything to me. I got up and started to rummage through my suitcase.

"What are you doing?" Jake asked.

"If you must know I'm going out with my friend tonight so we can catch up."

"Oh who?"

"My friend Nick" I said pulling out an outfit.

I was wearing light wash high waisted skinny jeans, a floral crop top, and white Dr. Martens.

I put on light make up because I wasn't impressing anyone. I just wanted to look presentable.

I got a text from Nick telling me he was here. So I kissed Jake good bye and left. He barely kissed back. I wanted to cry but I didn't.

We got to the diner and everything was going alright but I could shake what was going on with Jake. I guess Nick noticed.

"Is everything okay Luna?" he asked as I looked up kinda startled.

"Uh yeah" I said twiddling my thumbs.

"We were friends for four years Luna. I know that everything isn't okay. Now tell Nickypoo whats up" he said making my laugh.

"Well as you know I have a boyfriend and he's here with me visiting my mom with me. He was fine last night. And well I went outside this morning which is when I saw you. Then I went inside he was just like upset. I have no idea why. He didn't talk to me all day until I started getting ready to leave and it was to ask me where I was going and with who. Then I went to kiss him good bye and he barely kissed me back."

"Is he the jealous type?"

"Yeah why?"

"I did see someone poke their head out your door this morning when we were hugging."

"Thats probably it. Between the two of us it gets so complicated. Because we both care so much but we never talk things out before make things bigger than they are."

"Well maybe once you two resolve todays issue you talk about that."

"Yeah you're probably right."

"Usually am" he said jokingly.

"Now I remember why I broke up with you" I tease.

"Cause you didn't like always being wrong?"

"Yeah something like that" I said laughing.

Overall I had a really great night with Nick after he helped me out with Jake.

I came home around eight thirty.

It was so quite.

I went up to my room and saw Jake all puffy eyed sitting on my bed. I didn't know what to say so I just went up to him and he pulled me onto his lap.

"I am so sorry Luna for being so stupid. Please don't leave me. I was stupid and jealous an-and I should have just talked to you. Not give you the cold shoulder."

"Sh Jake it's okay. Just please calm I don't like seeing you like this" I said wiping his tears.

He slowly began to calm down thankfully.

"Now explain to me whats going on babe" I said.

"When I saw you this morning with that guy made me really jealous and upset then you went out with a guy and it just made me go crazy. And I trust you but I don't trust other guys. I'm just so new to this and I hate that anyone talking to you makes me jealous."

"I guess its just something we need to work on. Like also talking more and not just waiting until we burst."

"Yeah"

"I like you a lot Jake no one can ever change that okay?"

"Okay"
