It began with chaos. Not just any chaos. It was Chroma Knight-brand chaos. Which meant it came with sparkles, sarcasm, emotional damage, and a trail of confused Pro Heroes in its wake.

UA Cafeteria, 12:07 PM.
Students were casually eating lunch. Mina was mid-rant. Todoroki was mid-soba eating. Morpho Knight was mid-bite.
And then—
BZZZZZZT.
A tear in reality opened directly above the salad bar. Shaped like a glowing asterisk. Because why not.
From the portal floated a familiar green-and-blue menace, cape billowing dramatically in a nonexistent breeze.
“Honey, I’m home!” Chroma Knight declared, arms wide open.
Screams. Silverware clattered. A tray hit the ground. Kaminari fainted on sight.
Morpho Knight stood, already regretting every decision that led to this moment.
“What. Are. You. Doing. HERE!?” she growled, hand glowing.
“Oh nothing,” Chroma said sweetly, floating down with zero shame. “Just thought I’d borrow you for five minutes. For old time’s sake. Totally legal. Probably.”
Before she could react—
Poof.
He touched her shoulder, and they both disappeared into a glitchy, star-shaped portal with a “Boop!” sound effect.

Five minutes later…
Location: Somewhere in space but also nowhere. Possibly an abandoned Kirby Dream Land crossover set. Definitely illegal.
Morpho Knight glared at him across a floating platform. “Explain. Now.”
Chroma Knight sat cross-legged, sipping tea. “Look, I just missed you, alright? Figured I’d steal you for lunch, do a dramatic reveal, traumatize your coworkers, and bounce.”
Pause.
“…Also, you left your sword sharpener in our dimension.”
He tossed her a tiny pouch.
Morpho Knight deadpanned. “You hijacked the school for that?” She said already enough for her Ex Husband being annoying.
“No, no,” he chuckled. “I hijacked it because I’m a menace and I love attention.” Then, with a sly glance, “...And maybe I wanted to see if you still cared for me.”
That was when she punched him. Gently. In the ribs. Hardly, make his nose bleeding.
He grinned wider.
“Oh, Reader, she missed me,” he whispered to the sky.
Back at UA…
A second portal opened. Morpho Knight was unceremoniously dropped back into the cafeteria—lunch tray still intact. Chroma Knight, floating above, waved cheekily.
“Toodles, heroes! I’m off to go mislabel books in the library again. Starshine still thinks this is a romance arc!”
He disappeared mid-laugh.

The silence was thick.
“…Did your ex-husband just kidnap you for fun?” Uraraka asked, blinking.
Morpho Knight sighed. “I’m filing a cosmic restraining order.”
“And he gave you back your lunch?” asked Mineta.
Kirby quietly reached for her hand. “...Are you okay?”
Morpho Knight gave a small nod. “I’m fine.”
“…He stole my pudding,” Bakugou muttered.

Chroma Knight lay on a cloud, flipping through a stolen copy of My Hero Academia Volume 42 from one of your reader.
“Next time,” he smirked, “I show up during the Hero Work-Studies.”
He held up a paintbrush and added something to the next episode title:
