A/n: it's official guys🥹 we're finally nearing our final two or three chapters!!
That being said, I've got the next book currently in the works...
Actually, make that next two😍 I actually wanted to ask for your guys' opinion, because I want to only focus on one book at a time. So, would you guys want Grayson and Auriela, or Alex and Natalia first?

Also guys, I'm so sorry and I honestly don't know where else I made this mistake, but Thalia is Alex's cousin, the one who was supposed to be in the marriage with Matteo. Natalia is Auriela's roommate, who we'll see in Alex's book. I got my own characters names mixed up☹️ awkward

"What?" Auriela looks horrified. "You can't do that! Stop- put down the boxes- no- stop it!" She exclaims.

"I'm sorry girl, but I think it's time." I sigh. "Plus I kind of miss them. And I'm feeling sorta guilty for abandoning Luca."

"So you're just gonna abandon me instead?" She gasps, eyes shining with hurt.

"I'm not abandoning you." I soften my voice, placing a hand over hers. "It's just- I feel invasive. Like, you're always sleeping over at someone else's and I feel like it's because I'm here. Not that it's your fault," I rush to assure her. "But I'm kinda invading your space."

"No you're not!" She exclaims defensively. "It's just..." her cheeks tinge pink. "I can't really talk about it, okay? But I swear I'm not just, like, ditching you or anything. I just have some stuff going on."

"But I feel like that's even more of a reason for me to get out of your hair." I moan, desperate for her to find reason. "If you have something going on, I don't wanna be a bother."

"But you're not a bother," she tries to tell me. "If anything, Thalia is." She rolls her eyes.

"Hey." The blonde in question pipes up, but her attention is focused on a leather book sitting on her lap, looking one thousand percent unbothered.

"Thalia please tell her to stay." Aurie begs, eyes turning wide.

"Please stay."

"Gee, that was convincing for her."

I grin at their interaction, fighting my own amusement for the sake of a serious conversation. Slowly, I move to pick up another pink sweater to toss into my bag.

"No." Auriela argued, reaching into my suitcase and pulling the sweater back out.

I send her a pointed look, putting it back again. She pulls it out. I neatly fold it back in. She tears it out.

"Aurie!" I groan exasperatedly. "Why are you acting like it's the end of the world? It was only two weeks together, and it was a very fun two weeks, but all good things must come to an end," I finish somberly, placing an empathetic hand to my chest.

She sighs in defeat, her hands falling down to her side. "I mean the good news is, this must mean you've fixed things with Lover boy?"

I don't bother to answer the question, but I figure the pink cheeks and beaming smile giver her the response she's looking for.
