HELLUVA HUMAN: Highway to Hell (Chapter 2: Wanted Dead or Alive)

(Flashback)

At the park, Y/N and BF/N were seen jogging in order to stay fit and BF/N came to a stop and panted.

Y/N: BF/N, you okay?

BF/N: Phew... Yeah. Yeah, I'm alright. Just catching my breath.

Y/N: Alright, then...

BF/N sighed as he wiped the sweat off his forehead and he and Y/N looked around for a little bit until they saw a non-human silhouette near a bench under the trees. They walked towards the silhouette and when they got close, the appearance began to look familiar to them.

BF/N: Via?

Octavia: *yells out* Don't you fucking scare me like that!

BF/N: *flinches* S-Sorry. Just checking in.

Octavia: *sighs* Whatever.

BF/N: Umm... We'd ask if you're doing okay, but judging by your expression, I'll take it that you're not.

Octavia: ... At least you're smart.

BF/N: Well, not all humans are dumb and stupid.

Octavia: ...

Y/N: You wanna talk about it? Maybe we can help you.

Octavia: I don't want to talk about it.

BF/N: ...

Y/N: Well, we'd hate for you to leave like this, so please, tell us what's going on.

Octavia: *sighs* You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?

Y/N: We can if you want...

BF/N: ... Is this about your parents?

Octavia: *eyes widen* Wh-What?

BF/N: Via, I'd know that look, anywhere. Trust me. I've seen my fair share of people having to deal with their parents, especially when they argue a lot. So?

Octavia: ... *sighs* Alright, yes. It is. It's my parents. I had to come here to get away from them. And before you ask, my dad has been sleeping with an imp.

Y/N: Blitzø...

Octavia: Yep. Him. I just don't get what he sees in him. Why does he hang out with him more than us? It's fucking bullshit!

Y/N: ... I wish we knew why.

BF/N: Yeah... Well, maybe I have something in mind. It's just a guess, but this is what I believe. It's probably because...

Y/N: He's gay?

BF/N: Y/N!

Y/N: What?

BF/N: *sighs* It's probably that, yes, but that's not what I was going to say. I was going to say it's because something happened in his childhood that made him like that. From what we've seen, he and Blitzø seem to have somethings in common. ... Yeah, I think I'll stop because you probably don't want to hear uncertain truths.

Octavia: *sighs*

BF/N: ... But here's one thing I'm certain of. Nothing exists without a reason. You just need to find the reason why your parents argue and why Stolas and Blitzø have more of a connection. If you want to live a happy life, you find the truth and decide whether you want to accept it or not, but if you choose not to, it'll emotionally weigh you down in a bad way.

Octavia: But how am I supposed to find the truth when I don't know what's going on?

Y/N: You're old enough to make your own choices, Via. You should decide on what you believe is the right thing to do. And if you ever need help, me and BF/N are here to help you. Trust us.

BF/N: Indeed. It's gonna be okay, Via. You just need to believe that there's hope in the world, even when it doesn't feel like there is.

Octavia: What's the point in believing in something that's possibly not real? If it doesn't exist, then why believe in it?

Y/N: ... Because being a believer makes you feel better. Like how you believe that your parents can find some way to accept one another.

Octavia: ...

Y/N: Hang onto that belief, Octavia. And if all else fails, you can turn to us. We'll help you however we can.

BF/N: Yeah. We're friends, after all.

Octavia: *eyes widen* Friends...?

Y/N: Yeah. It's gonna be okay. I promise.

Octavia: ...

(Present Day)

Octavia was now seen using her magic to hold One and Two back as she was angry at seeing her friends in danger.

Octavia: Stay away from them!

She pushes the agents away and runs to Y/N.

BF/N: Via, how did you...? Why?

Octavia: ... Because this is my choice. To help you guys, regardless of the consequences.

BF/N: ...

Octavia looked at Y/N as he was bleeding out.

Y/N: *weakly* Th-Thank... you...

Octavia: You can thank me by not dying. Just hold on.

BF/N and Octavia continue to do what they can to help Y/N while Loona was fighting back against her tears and the others were concerned and worried.

BF/N: Via, please, tell me you have some kind of magic that can save him. We can't get to the hospital from here.

Octavia: Sorry, but I don't.

BF/N: What?!

Octavia: Look, I'm not good at magic, yet. And there isn't a magic spell that can help him. It's not in the grimoire.

BF/N: Goddamnit! Well, isn't there something we can do? I'm not losing my brother anytime soon! Please...

Octavia thought long and hard on what to do, but she came to an ultimate conclusion. However, she was hesitant.

Octavia: We need to take him to Dad.

Everyone: What?!

BF/N: You mean, we have to take him to Hell?

Octavia: Yes...

BF/N: But, isn't it taboo for us humans to be in Hell without being... Y'know, dead?

Octavia: It is, but... *sighs* For some reason, when it comes to you two, I feel like I'm not afraid of the consequences.

BF/N: ...

Octavia: You two are the first humans I've ever met that has treated me like a friend, so... I can't sit here and let you both die. Now grab Y/N!

BF/N does so and Octavia grabs the grimoire from her bag. She opens the book to the page and opens a portal to Hell in Stolas's room in his mansion. The others walked through it, but BF/N hesitated.

Octavia: It's alright. Sinners aren't allowed to use Goetia magic, but with you two, you're safe since you're not dead.

BF/N nodded and was through the portal with Y/N in his arms. They arrive in Hell and begin to look around.

Octavia: Dad?! Dad! Are you here? We need help!

On cue, Stolas walks through a door with his red bathrobe on.

Stolas: Octavia? What's going on? *eyes widen* Y/N!

Stolas runs to BF/N.

Stolas: What happened to him?

BF/N: He was shot in the vital organs. He's dying. Please, help him.

Stolas: But why bring him here? And in Hell?

BF/N: Look, I'll explain later, so please!

Stolas: ... Alright. Take him to my couch.

BF/N does so and Loona watched as he walked away with Y/N. Her ears leaned back and she looks down in depression as she whined like a canine.
