Giyuu straightened.

The teacher nodded, already halfway back to the board.

"Correct."

But before he could continue, Shinobu's voice chimed in, just loud enough to be heard.

"Not bad, but maybe next time give the unit before the answer. Presentation matters."

Giyuu side-eyed her.

"It's not a debate club."

She said with a smile

"But I like to win in every subject."

The boys behind them stifled grins. Tengen leaned forward, whispering,

"Oh, this is gonna be good."

Sanemi gave a low whistle.

"I feel bad for Kanamori-sensei."

Rengoku, beaming, whispered,

"Healthy competition is the soul of progress!"

Obanai was already making tally marks in the corner of his notebook like he was keeping score.

Mr. Kanamori, blissfully unaware of the rising storm, posed the next question.

"Alright then. Kocho. If we increase the force to 18 newtons on the same object, what's the new acceleration?"

Shinobu smiled, ready to speak-then paused when Giyuu calmly said

"Six meters per second squared."

She blinked, her lips still parted.

Mr. Kanamori, barely noticing, confirmed

"Correct. Tomioka-wait, I called on Kocho-"

He squinted.

Giyuu said flatly, not looking even slightly sorry.

Shinobu blinked, smiled again and sharpened.

"Hmm. Stealing answers now? How very original of you."

He shrugged.

"I assumed you'd take too long explaining it."

The room went dangerously still.

Mr. Kanamori sighed.

"Let's... move on. Next one's simple-"

"Let me answer this one"

Shinobu said sweetly, raising her hand before he even finished.

The teacher hesitated.
